La Tapenade caught my eye while on a layover in Terminal 1. I could smell their pastries, cheese, olives, meats, and sandwiches from afar. They have a small but great display of pastries, breads, gourmet sandwiches and pizzas. You can also pick up some antipasta, salads, and fresh veggies to pair with your sandwich. They have limited adjacent seating and their are ♿ handicap accessible restrooms right beside this location.

Skip it and wait in the starbucks line. You’d think it would be a simple process. Order food, pull it out of the freezer, put it on the conveyor and get the food to the person who ordered it.

Chicken sandwich- don’t expect actual chicken – it’s deli meat of low quality. Sides are the size of condiment container. The only redeeming factor is that sandwich is warm. Unsatisfying carb and preservatives pseudo food. Chicago – do better!

The breakfast panini, whic supposedly has egg, onion, peppers, mushroom, etc. is just teo pieces of bread with a pre-made square of what is supposed to be an egg… and nothing else. When I asked about it they just said “oh! I think they forgot to put the other ingredients bit we don’t have them here so…” and that was a month and a half ago. I went today just out of curiosity… and the exact same thing. This place is a scam. Stay away from it.

This looks like a nice little place, with lots of selection and places to sit, in the midst of a very busy terminal at this airport.

Great quick little spot adjacent to a Starbucks. the quickly roasted sandwiches flat breads and pastries are all very delicious. My only comment would be that the staff was a touch more friendly and engaging. the refrigerated deli has some awesome salads and snacks available as well that look very fresh.

It’s an airport I get it, it’s super expensive but wow! The waitress/tender “ROWNE” (improper spelling) is horrendous, not accommodating, belittled multiple customers, was completely rude, and involved herself in conversations. General resting (you know what) face. Orders were made cheap and terrible. Go elsewhere.

We had Alex and Dee as our bartenders this morning and they were both WONDERFUL. Great personalities with conversations and drinks to match! We feel like we’ve found a hidden gem at O’Hare. We also ordered a pizza that was hot and delicious. If you sit at the bar, be warned that the AC is intense, but my boyfriend was enjoying the cold

Perfectly decent airport restaurant, certainly not going to knock your socks off, but about what you’d expect.
