My family and I checked out this place while visiting Wilmington. The food was delicious and the prices were very affordable. We spent $56 for 3 people which included meals, drinks and snack (treat). The agua frescas were pretty good especially the Pineapple and mango flavored. The corn on the cob with mayo tajin and cheese was on point. Highly recommend this place.

Carla, Liz, Jackie, Yuseli, all are providing fantastic service!! I’ve been coming by Tapatia for basically three years now, each time they’ve all greeted me with a smile, a laugh, and good conversation. Half of the reason I go is the fantastic service, but the food is phenomenal too. Carne Asada fries are my favorite by anything on the menu is phenomenal. Thank you guys, keep up the great work!!

Food was outstanding. We have been several times, with parties of 3 and of 9. Prices were extremely reasonable. Everyone loved their food. The servers were extremely friendly. Liz and Yusell were wonderful, attentive and such a pleasure.

La Tapatia Taqueria delivers some of the best handcrafted Mexican food in town. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are well-balanced, and the taco special is especially good. Everything tastes thoughtfully prepared, not just thrown together.
Service is friendly and efficient, and the place is clean and well-kept. The margaritas are also excellent—when I asked for one that wasn’t too sweet, they made it exactly how I wanted.
If you’re looking for quality Mexican food with great service, this is the spot.

I’ve been going here for 4 years and the quality is always superb. This is not only my favorite mexican restaurant in Wilmington but La Tapatia is my favorite place to eat PERIOD. Their salsa bar alone has enough unique flavors to add to their outstanding variety of tasty entree options. The lunch menu is one of the best values in town as well. Love this place.
