This was my first time eating here. While visiting Floresville I decided to pull in and sample the cuisine. I had a barbacoa taco along with a shredded chicken chalupa. My traveling companion had caldo de res but actually had ordered caldo de pollo. They brought out the wrong dish however she decided not to send it back and eat the beef. The food was very good and came out hot. There could have been a little more meat in the barbacoa taco however and the tortilla was about average. The chalupa was delicious and the service was ok. Next time I’m in Floresville I might just stop in again and sample another dish.

I am extremely disappointed with this location. Every time I’ve ordered from here, something is always missing or incorrect. Tonight was the final straw. I ordered the #24 Fajitas Texanas and got home to find they forgot my tortillas. When I started eating, I noticed the peppers weren’t even cooked. I wasn’t able to check my order before leaving because they always tie the bags shut. In the past, when I’ve opened the bag to check, fajita juice has leaked everywhere and made a mess in my car. This has been a consistently frustrating experience. I’m assuming this isn’t an issue when dining in. The best advice I can offer is to be mindful when placing takeout orders or using the drive-through.

Of all the taquerias in SouTex, La Tapatia has become one of our favorites!
Busy but casual with prompt service, the food is served fast, fresh and hot!
Carnitas are always in the menu and a personal favorite-some of the best ever enjoyed! Beans are tasty and rice has nice flavor. Her tortilla soup was generous and loaded, really two meals!
Even the chips and salsa are elevated above any in the area!
And the prices are a pleasant surprise!
With one on every corner, La Tapatia is worth driving further for comida deluxe!

Love that I can get a margarita to take home after a long day a work. The food is really good too. We like to get the alambres plate. Food is quick. Drive thru is convenient. Waitresses and staff are really nice all the time. Will keep going by for sure.

If you’re going for the first time, you have to get the 5 street taco combo, it is hands down the best deal and always hits the spot. The meat is seasoned perfectly, and the portions are great.
Don’t skip dessert: Make sure you grab a pineapple empanada before you leave. They are incredibly fresh, sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal.

New place in town so always got a good crowd. Came on a weekend night and they had live music that’s a good twist. Really enjoyed it. The whole family liked there dish and had a great experience

The new restaurant in Floresville is fantastic. They have a full bar and the service was excellent. We’ve eaten at this same restaurant at another location and wasn’t impressed at all. It was marginal at best. Not sure what the deal is but the Floresville location is very good. Breakfast tacos were very good and we were served quickly. Nice and, clean with a great atmosphere.

First restaurant I ate at after moving from down in the valley and honestly I think my expectations were too high. The food was decent and the restaurant in general was very nice. The staff was very attentive and food came out fast even though it was very busy. I wouldn’t say this is my family’s to go place for this type of meal but its a decent place overall.
