I stayed at La Table d’Hélène for three weeks, and it was one of the most memorable and nourishing experiences I’ve ever had. From the very first day, I felt welcomed, cared for, and truly at home. Hélène is not only an exceptional cook but an exceptional human being, warm, thoughtful, and genuinely passionate about creating a space where people feel comfortable, nourished, and inspired.
The food was extraordinary every single day. Each meal felt like a small celebration: beautifully presented, balanced, creative, and full of flavor. I loved that the menu changed constantly, with dishes influenced by French, Mediterranean, and world cuisine. Every plate was made with care and intention, whether it was a delicate panna cotta with fresh herbs, a perfectly seasoned vegetarian lasagna, a refreshing lentil salad, or a comforting warm dish on a cool mountain evening. It’s the kind of food that stays with you long after the meal is over.
The setting itself is peaceful and stunning. Nestled high in the mountains, the terrace looks out over a quiet landscape, almost a retreat-like atmosphere. Mornings and evenings were especially beautiful, with soft light and a calm breeze. Many guests talk about the hidden gem feeling, and I completely agree. It’s intimate, serene, and nothing like the crowded tourist restaurants elsewhere on the island.
Beyond the food and the views, what truly makes this place special is the host. Hélène’s kindness is genuine. She goes above and beyond for her guests, whether offering great conversation, giving recommendations, or simply creating a sense of warmth and belonging. You can feel the love and passion she puts into everything she does.
After three weeks, this wasn’t just a stay, it was an experience that fed both body and soul. I left feeling rested, inspired, and grateful.

What a lovely, peaceful, serene place to have a fantastic meal high up on the mountain. The view is fantastic! Helene is very friendly and a wonderful chef. The highlight for me on this day was vegetarian lasagna with pumpkin being the star. I’ve never had pumpkin in lasagna but it had such a perfect balance of lightly sweet and savory. I would highly recommend having a meal at La Table D Helene! But please pay attention that her place is on the east side of the island and no longer on the west side (Google is not making the change unfortunately). And please call her to make a reservation and receive instructions on how to get there. Now, go enjoy this wonderful experience!

It was amazing. Helene is an incredible host and chef. After a very warm welcome, we had an Aperitif in the comfortable lounge area, where we could choose our courses. You can choose between 2 or 3 course menu. For each course you have three different options. As we were 4 people we tried each option. Each and every course was incredible delicious. The location is extraordinary, with lovely decorations, open fire and a lot of plants. We enjoyed our dinner, the atmosphere and the hospitility. We would be happy to come back on our next stay on Teneriffa. Helene, thanks a lot for the amazing evening

Its not just a restaurant, its also a hotel. They advertise it as an apartment but its a room with a shared bathroom. Guests uses the toilettes of the restaurant. They hotel did not want to give us a refund. Horrible experience.

Last year we promised ourselves we come back everytime I’m in Tenerife. We did it yesterday and was great just like the first time. This is not only a restaurant but and excursion!
