Two of us ordered:
1 San $35.00
1 Yon $40.00

Order via self serve kiosk.

No frills. Limited seating. PRobably decent for take out. I definitely prefer these normal cuts of fish compared to sugar fish cuts.

Street parking only.

I tried LA Sushi Co for the first time recently and had a truly positive experience! Their pickup was ready to go in 12 minutes. Rolls are very affordable and appropriately priced and…they have real crab California rolls. WHICH IS ACTUALLY HARD TO FIND! It was good. Like 8/10 good. I would totally come back for pickup, and would actually come here to dine in if I was in the neighborhood. Cute branding.

Just send me west and you’ll find me taking a detour to LA Sushi Co! Delicious, convenient, friendly faces, great vibe! Perfect for yummy sushi, beautiful handmade ceramic gifts, swag, Japanese treats…just go!

We enjoyed the fresh nigiri and think it is great value! We also really liked that they serve California roll with real crab.

I think ordering 1 cut roll and a YON blue box is enough for 2 people to share, all for around $55.

Downside: Street parking is all up to luck

Do yourself a favor. Don’t let the five star reviews fool you like they did me.
Go somewhere else.
They don’t even have miso soup here and won’t take cash as payment.
I managed to spend $110 at this fast food sushi place. And I’m still hungry. The sashimi is thin. Like sushi thin. The rolls are small. Albertsons has bigger sushi rolls. Although the fish was clean it smells like quality seafood on the Redondo beach pier when you walk in. The best dish they offer isn’t even sushi… it’s waygu for $14.00 for two pieces. There is no parking lot either. Even though there was two of us we only got one soy sauce dish and one glass of water. And the employees look like they just want their shift to end so they can leave this place and go home. ( I don’t blame them) Pass pass pass

We are visiting from San Diego and decided to try LA Sushi Co. Everything we ordered was fresh and really delicious. The sushi quality stood out and the sashimi was especially excellent. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We’ll definitely be back and would happily recommend it to others.

I love this restaurant so much. Dine in or take away. The sushi is so fresh and tasty. My favorite order to go is the ichi box. It’s so affordable and so delicious. I love their cute store in the back with specialty Japanese snacks.

5 stars all around. Set was fresh, exactly as described and pictured on the menu, pretty sure they use real wasabi too. Adding to the normal rotation of places worth going

The fish is fresh and good but they usually give you very small portions of fish ! The nigiri is 50% smaller than a standard nigiri piece. I’ve come six times and maybe once or twice I’ve had a decently normal cut.
You get more at Sugarfish for the same price.

It’s inconsistent. One day the rolls and nigiri are a decent size – still smaller than normal and other days it’s a larger reduction. Today was the last straw,
I had such small pieces of nigiri and rolls.

It’s solid. Some of the best takeout sushi I’ve ever had. Right up there with Yama Sushi in Mar Vista and way better than Sugarfish, NowazaBar or KazuNori.

Their marketing game is a bit much though. The blue and white fancy bag, the napkins, the chopsticks, the bag that holds the chopsticks, the fancy containers, all of which have LA Sushi Co branding… I get it, but to me it’s just fluff for their boogie Brentwood clientele. Normal plastic bags and containers like they have at every other takeout sushi restaurant are perfectly sufficient. Keep it causal. Branding and fancy packaging adds nothing. The product stands for itself entirely on its own, which is all that really matters at the end of the day.

Highly recommend!
