This tiny little restaurant is absolutely brilliant. Proper regional dishes cooked to order from the freshest ingredients by a passionate Sardinian Chef, supported by his charming & efficient Slovakian wife as front of house.
Superb home made fresh pasta. Lovely sauces made properly and with flair. So good to have a proper Italian restaurant in Tunbridge Wells at long last. Good value, too. We will be regulars! Bravo!

La Spiga is a true hidden gem in Tunbridge Wells. The space is small so it’s important to book your table ahead of time. We shared a bottle of the house white wine which paired perfectly with our food. Every dish we ordered was amazing and truly some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. We ended the meal with the most perfect pistachio cannoli. The service was amazing and the atmosphere provided a setting for a nice intimate dinner without feeling pretentious. This spot has now became a favourite of mine in town and I know we will be back!

I can’t believe we have never been here before, the food is excellent, great service with a nice welcome too. It was hard to choose what to eat, everything looked delicious, and even though our food was amazing, I was still eyeing up the pizza’s on our neighbouring table. Will definitely return for more.

My mum, sister and I visited La Spiga last Saturday evening and it was spectacular! The gnochetti may have been my favourite pasta dish of all time and my mum said her ravioli was truly delicious – she commented that it was miles tastier and better value for money compared to other places she had been including Cipriani in Mayfair. The atmosphere was lovely and the waitress was very kind and attentive. We all agreed to have desserts and frangelico as we were having such a wonderful time. The tiramisu and cannoli was delicious! It felt like a lovely, authentic family owned business – and I’m gutted we were only visiting and I don’t have this restaurant in my hometown! Highly recommend!

My mum and I had a gorgeous meal here before going to the Trinity theatre. The pasta is made fresh in the restaurant daily. The food was piping hot and delicious. We had the nduja pasta special and it was amazing, along with a garlic bread with cheese. Highly recommend this wonderful local restaurant!

La Spiga is a wonderful Italian restaurant. Its small size creates a wonderful intimate atmosphere as does the excellent service. The food was delicious and none of our three courses disappointed. We had a great evening and will be going back.
