We came in at exactly 5PM when the restaurant opened. Our sever Roger gave us a very detailed description of the menu. We decided to order the the salad, steak with fries and dessert from the pre fixed menu. Additionally, we also ordered the Berkshire pork chop. Desserts came after the entree. The food was amazingly delicious and beautifully presented.

I can only speak of the dinner here, as I haven’t tried the breakfast. The food I tried was all pretty mediocre, at best. The cod was incredibly fishy, and the flavor took over the entire dish (the beans were ok, could not really taste any tomato which is a shame since they’re in season). I requested a medium rare steak, and got a medium with incredibly dry (even burnt) edges. The frites were good, as were the deviled ouefs (we tried one with caviar and one without). We also tried their zero proof cocktails and found them underwhelming as well. Can’t say this place is worth the price for me.

Food and service were incredible! I have tried almost every French bistro in SF as it is my favorite cuisine and almost everywhere has disappointed compared to French bistros I’ve tried elsewhere. I can barely get a decent cup of French Onion Soup in the city.
When La Societe opened I had to try it and I was not disappointed. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The French onion soup came with a bone marrow which was so unique (I love bone marrow!) And the meats were cooked to a juicy tender temperature.
The service was impeccable. Plates were taken away when empty. Water cups were filled when empty. But it never felt like they were hovering. Just very attentive.

Had a meal during the holidays for a birthday celebration. Excellent ambience and service. Meal was nice. Staff and Server were thoughtful and gifted a scoop of ice cream with a candle to celebrate.

The food was excellent event if it was Sunday buffet breakfast. The different choices allowed each n guest in our party to pick what they wanted. Probably if you are on a budget, order one of their dishes. But if you are hungry or traveling for the day, the buffet is a great start of the day.

This place just opened up at the Hyatt. Their breakfast buffet is really solid. Best buffet soft scrambled eggs I’ve had. Orange juice is fresh squeezed, and they have nice touches like French butter. They also had this oxtail onsen egg dish which was unique.
