This place was dingy, dirty, wiped the table myself, there is no service, just a guy to take your order, you will return to ask for condiments or sauce, won’t be offered, food is bland and sub-par. There is a fair selection, price is good, but it’s alighned with a fast food restaurant feel, slightly above quality. This place was recommended by a co-worker, and I’d never listen to him again. I see he has no class. It was hot, no AC, and appeared to be struggling in every way. I’ve had food carts better. I’m an honest critic. Sorry! If you like stringy over chewy beef and rubbery chicken. And Flys circling you, Enjoy.

Sink Pisser
This is a real, authentic Alberta Street sink to pee in. Make sure you try all of the salsas so you can delights yourself with an array of fragrances while you urinate in this very accommodating and sink-pee-friendly basin. And like all the best Portland sinks it comes adorned with ZENKO’s signature.

I’ve had some good Mexican food on my visits to the states. This was one of the best burritos I’ve ever had.

A tiny little diner serving what appears to be authentic Mexican food. I ordered 3 tacos, I could only finish two. Very tasty and very tasty salsas. I asked for tostadas (chips), even though I was charged for them, they were freshly made. No fountain drinks or alcohol, but bottled sodas. Main items on the menu were tacos and burritos, no traditional Mexican plates, that’s the only reason I don’t rate them a 5. Give them a shot.

La Sirenita is a great small family-owned Mexican restaurant. We have been going here for years, they have the best breakfast burritos. Of course, they have allot more than that though, all their burritos and plates are great. They make their Horchata daily and when it runs out it is gone. The vegetarian options are great, we love to get a large plate of nachos and share them, get a beer and sit outside. This place is great, sometimes there is a line, but it is worth the wait.

Great neighborhood Mexican joint. . The portions are huge. The habanero green sauce is very good and only moderately spicy. Parking can hard to find. Check out my profile for more great eateries and cocktail bars.

One of my absolute favorite spots in town. Best tripas around! I often get 2 tripa + 2 carnitas tacos with an agua de jamaica but if it’s Sunday then I’m definitely getting a big bowl of menudo .

This place still stands from when I was a kid. I went to get a quick bite to eat and you can get donuts and ice cream on the corner a door or two down the street. Enjoy. Parking is wild though so I hope you get lucky to find a spot close to the door unless you don’t mind walking.
