Very busy day today, loud noise because of a full house!! Service was slow but courteous, we were not in a rush for lunch. Food was good, lamb was a little over cooked. Pricing was mid to high tier. I had not been back 10+ years, nice decor! We met Milad, nice man!

I was invited here for dinner and had a very pleasant experience. The restaurant offered great service, and the food was delicious with excellent flavors. Although it was quite busy, the quality of both the food and service remained impressive. I am not usually a big fan of seafood restaurants, but this one did not disappoint. The dessert menu was especially impressive and offered a wonderful finish to the meal. Prices are on the higher side, which reflects the restaurant’s positioning as a high end dining spot.

La Sirène de la Mer is a Lebanese seafood restaurant. Located off the beaten path, it is worth a detour.

The restaurant is bright, spacious and clean, it features floor to ceiling windows which brings in a natural light. Service is formal, with white table cloth and uniformed waiters.

The menu showcases mainly seafood but not only, prepared in Lebanese, Eastern Mediterranean style, with fresh pita bread as an opener. We ordered fish and it was good. Portions were generous.

In addition to the restaurant, which is on the left side of the building, the right side of La Sirène de la Mer hosts a fresh seafood store, with a good variety of fresh fish and seafood, including live lobster.

The service, the food and the deserts, which were more distinctly Lebanese, Eastern Mediterranean in nature, were all delicious. The side order of truffle fries we added to our selection were also very tasty, perfectly done.

This is a good spot for special occasions.

I’ve been going to La Sirène for over 20 years and it has never once disappointed. This restaurant is truly exceptional and has become a real Montreal institution.
The food is always outstanding — incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and remarkably consistent. Their fish market is easily one of the best in Montreal, offering exceptional quality seafood every time.
What also makes this place stand out is the service. Many members of the staff have been there for years, and they are incredibly attentive and well-trained. They genuinely remember their clients, their preferences, and their needs, which makes every visit feel personal and welcoming.
The owner is also very present, friendly, and attentive, which contributes greatly to the warm atmosphere of the restaurant.
Whether for lunch or dinner, La Sirène consistently offers exceptional food and service. If you are looking for one of the best and most reliable dining experiences in Montreal, this restaurant truly delivers every single time.

Wow!!! Best meal I have had in for ever! Delicious food. So fresh. Excellent service!! I heard that this restaurant was excellent and so I travelled from the south shore to try out. It was so worth it. I found my new favourite spot! I highly highly recommend this place. Thanks La Sirène for an awesome experience!

About 100 bucks per person. The grilled octopus was bitter, and the salt-baked fish (around $160 per kilo) was just okay—more for the presentation than the taste. We came because google map said there was Tesla charging, but turns out there wasn’t any haha.

The food was delicious and savoury. The filet mignon was cooked absolutely perfectly. Great seafood dishes,as well.

We were a party of about 16-20 people. Out waiter seemed to be in a rush to serve us and clear our plates. We asked to keep our fries, but clear main dish. He said ok. Came back two mins later and removed our fries while we were talking with someone (distracted). Nice place overall, though.

Incredible customer service! Every dish was exceptional! Next time we will order for the table and share….the labneh with mint and garlic will certainly get your attention! Scallops were not on the menu BUT were ordered from their fish market just adjacent. Need I say more? FYI: french fries, brown rice with pine nuts and onions, and wine leaves are a must

Came for lunch, not sure if this is a fancy restaurant or not since there was no one at the entrance to greet or direct. The waiter needs to step up his service, forgot about my drink for 30 mins. Other wise the food was good 7.5/10.
