Decided last minute to pop in and try this place for lunch. The presentation was 10/10. The salsa was amazing- it had just enough kick and amazing flavor. We both got the Combination plate #2. The ground beef taco was seasoned perfectly, the enchilada was cooked just right, the tamale was wonderfully seasoned. Unfortunately the relleno wasn’t anything special, but the flavor was amazing. The papas, rice, and beans were really good as well. The green chile was super flavorful and the red Chile had amazing flavor and a kick that builds up as you eat.
The service was amazing. The servers were really attentive, and also help each other out on the floor as well. Definitely will be coming back.

Genuinely the best service experience ever. My family is vegetarian; some of us hate spicy food, others need enough spice to affect a Victorian child’s lifespan. The staff was incredibly accommodating to our specific needs and continuously came up to check on us and make sure everything was up to par. The food was delicious and came out promptly. 10/10 experience— would definitely recommend.

They say you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, and they’re right! I decided to give this place a try after seeing all the great Google reviews, and I’m so glad I did. My to-go order was delicious, and the atmosphere was surprisingly inviting. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more special. Hopefully, the area will bounce back to normal soon, because this spot has real potential! Once they get their liquor license, it’s going to be an awesome spot for happy hour, cold beers, and tasty appetizers.

My husband and I eat Hispanic food often. We wanted to try a restaurant that has a New Mexican Specialty. I have traveled far and wide internationally, and still this place does not disappoints!! Everything they have is flavorful. We especially loved their hatch chilli stew!!!! This dish is as New Mexico as it gets; no other border city (to Mexico) does it. Generous portions!!! This restaurant doesn’t look fancy outside and their plating style is not that fancy, but food is good and their plating style price is right!

The food was a very high quality and the portions were gigantic! They had a very friendly waiting staff that took time to answer questions. I love that they’re open later on a Saturday. I highly recommend the tamales on their combination plate. Yesterday’s visit was a wonderful trip down memory lane for my family. We used to live in the neighborhood and ate at this place under a different name. Awesome to see that the food is still very good!

We initially chose this restaurant because it’s close to UNM (we’re only in ABQ for medical reasons) but now it’s somewhere we HAVE to stop at! It’s become a staple in our travels. It’s so good, the portions are very generous and the staff is beyond amazing. I got mango shrimp and it was great! Perfect mix of spice flavor

The menu is a bit small. The food was 10/10, the portion sizes were GREAT. They do sell breakfast food all day but the only thing I wasn’t happy about is they don’t offer and queso blanco which was a first time for me at a Mexican restaurant. Overall I would visit again.

Come here hungry because the portions are huge.
I had the zia chimi and it was great. The ground beef was seasoned really well and the chile was really good.
Partner had the green chile stew and said it was probably the best green chile stew she’s ever had.
