I recently stopped by La Sevillana Bakery & Restaurant in Westbury, Long Island, and decided to try a few of their empanadas: beef, cheese, and chicken.
The beef empanada was a standout—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and paired beautifully with their house-made green and pink sauces. The cheese empanada had a nice flavor, but I felt it could be improved with either a bolder cheese choice or a touch more seasoning to make it truly shine. The chicken empanada was flavorful and tender, with just the right amount of filling to crust ratio.
Those sauces—especially the green sauce—were absolutely amazing and elevated every bite. The restaurant itself was clean, well-kept, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided quick service.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would definitely return to try more of their menu. La Sevillana delivers on flavor and hospitality, and with a small tweak to the cheese empanada, it could be perfect across the board.

I really enjoyed my visit, The food was fresh and tasted amazing, especially the pastries. The staff were super friendly, and the prices were good for the quality. I definitely recommend trying it if you want a nice treat!

Rude workers specifically the only guy I’ve seen there (old, white, green eyes). It may be a woman hate thing since he skipped 2 guys that came after me and then was super smiley with the buff dude that came in after them.
Food is amazing though, great coffee and prices.
