Stopped by because I had seen local posts about this place being broken into and having their cash stolen. I live close enough that I wanted to stop by and give a local spot some business/foot traffic. Very delicious food for great value. I had the street taco plate and got a mixed bag of meats, so to speak, all of them were delicious but the pastor definitely stood out to me. And I’m not even that huge of a fan of pastor usually. Their green sauce is also *chefs kiss* super tasty with a nice kick. Definitely going to be back and hope to see more people stop by as well.

I have a new place! This place has great tacos and tender meat! The poblano chicken tacos are the bomb next the slow cooked barbacoa tacos.

The best tacos! Recently moved to the Houston area from NY, and we’ve been trying everything. La Salsita hit the mark! The gorditas are huge and filling and the horchata is a must try! If I could bottle the salsa verde and bring it home I would.

I had an amazing experience at La Salsita Mex-Tex! Their tortas are incredibly juicy, packed with flavor, and made with the freshest ingredients. Recently visited and undeniably amazing food! However the service was not the best. There’s no spark in customer service at all. It was around 10am, given they open at 7am during the week, but one of the girls looked like she had just woken up. Very blunt, no smiles, definitely didn’t speak up much, and just didn’t feel welcoming. Not even a “thank you, come again soon!” as you walk out. Would visit again to pick up food, but not to dine in.

I heard about this place being robbed so I went to support the business and I was pleased with the food and service . I ordered a torta with horchata and it was delicious. It’s also a great way for a brunch if your in the area !!
