Absolutely, hands down the best Mexican food we’ve had. Everything is hand made and delicious. Blanca is a great server with a beautiful smile!

Forget it. Just stopped for some takeaway on a road trip. Counter girl was lovely but who knows what is happening in the kitchen. Waited far too long for 2 cold tacos and a burrito. Soft barbacoa taco order turned into ground beef in a hard shell. Hardly anything on the tacos. Taco Bell does better than this. The burrito was a runny mess with minimal chicken. Also cold. We like to try local spot vs chains. Mistake in this case. Dirty tables. The upside is nice salsa selection and friendly girl working register.

Apparently this place is the reason UFOs go so far out of their way to visit. La Salsa is worth stopping in Roswell even if you’re just passing through! The restaurant is embedded in a mall but they have a separate entrance and open at 7 a.m. I got breakfast – two eggs with bacon, hash browns, tortilla and pancakes. Truly spectacular – eggs cooked exactly like I asked, bacon was crispy, pancakes were fluffy, hash browns were a style I’m not used to but very delicious, tortilla was huge and definitely homemade. They even threw in a yummy sopapilla. I asked them to smother the eggs and hash browns in red chili sauce, which was perfect. They have a condiment bar with about a dozen items, most of them salsas. I got the blackened jalapenos and onions that had been marinated in a soy sauce based marinade. Never had that before but it was wonderful. Staff was friendly. Bathroom spotless.

Very clean and spacious. Kid friendly. The staff and food are great. For me, the excitement of a self serve salsa bar. Red chili, green chili and mild chili and hot chili. Freshly diced onion with cilantro. They have a special item on the salsa bar…onions, roasted jalapenos and cilantro in soy sauce. Don’t turn your nose up till you try it. I promise you’ll love this place, so what are you waiting for?

They have a salsa bar! We had a yummy breakfast. Biscuits and gravy with egg and hashbrowns is what I had. The Carne asada was delicious. So was the shrimp ceviche! They also have a bowl of menudo. Prices are reasonable, especially when you see the plate you get! You can also get a sopapilla with or without cinnamon.

Haven’t had anything I didn’t like from here so far. The inside can be kind of crowded at times, but if it’s fine weather seating outside is usually great. It’s a great stop before going to the theater.

I Really want to take the time to acknowledge my review change, the food is excellent and really tasteful, the staff is moderately professional and the food is a must try, I would recommend the Flautas combination Plate, including the shrimp cocktail, I enjoy their variety of salsas and the fact that they include a sopapilla with your order, not included with all meal orders. I didn’t get the chance to try Jamaica which is my favorite latin drink, next to horchata, also the Chile Relleno a are very good I believe the chilies are locally selected by near by farms. They also have a variety of burritos to choose from, my personal favorite would have to be the green chili combo burrito with ground beef! My Coworker Introduced me to this restaurant many years ago and the food has improved .

3/29/23- First time eating there and we were so disappointed. The food was ok but Roswell has better Mexican. The prices were terrible, $4.49 for a large soda!

Kind of dark. Gloomy. Should increase the lighting since they took over the place. Burger was BIG. Not on a regular bun. Can really chew the cheese on the chile relleno combo dish.
