Whether I am dining in or taking their delicious food on the road La salsa never disappoints. They have the best Menudo in ENID and maybe the whole state of Oklahoma. On weekends, They have handmade tortillas and the food is always served fresh hot and ready to eat. The servers are very friendly and very professional. The restaurant is always clean but the food is the star!! You must eat at the salsa in ENID skip the big restaurants and find your culinary treasure at this tiny wonderful restaurant in ENID.

Got a two for one this time! Enid, Oklahoma rocks! Was rushing to get back to the city to get my trailer fixed, stopped to get my veggie burrito, salsa and chips and once again it was on point! Backed in, got out to check the trailer and WALLLAA!!! There was a mobile welder that I needed RIGHT THERE!!! He so graciously fixed the problem!! La Salsa and Enid welders rock!!

I’ve ordered here 4x! First time was wrong order, then twice got right and was good! 4th time the claim they denied didn’t receive my online order and told me it would be 20 minutes!!! No refund offered, so I left a no food and $13.07 poorer! This place is absolutely ridiculous

What a little gem of a restaurant. The Chipotle Shrimp sauce is the best ever! Will be back when I am in town, a new favorite.

I’m from California where there is a Mexican Fire Grilled Chicken restaurant on every corner (just about), called El Pollo Loco. Delicious chicken! Since moving to OK four years ago, I haven’t had Mexican Fire Grilled Chicken, nor found a restaurant that served it. Enter Pollo Alteno in Enid, OK.

We drove passed it many times, then one day it hit me; let’s try it! Maybe it’ll be what I’ve been missing!

The parking lot was fairly full as it was just before lunch, but we found a table easily. The restaurant is a just a little small, so try to get there before the rushes if possible. The menu is packed with yummy Mexican dishes, but my heart and tummy was set on fire grilled chicken. I ordered the 3 piece white meat plate with double beans, hubby ordered a chicken quesadilla.

HEAVEN!! This was what I’d been missing for 4 years! The meat was moist and tender, the skin gloriously crispy and “fire” tasting. Goodness, it was SO GOOD! Their beans were authentically tasty (have you ever noticed a lot of Mexican restaurants beans taste weird or bland? Not here!!)

Hubby liked his chicken quesadilla too. In fact, he liked it so much, HE suggested we go there a couple of weeks later. THAT rarely happens! My tummy was up for it, but sadly, my chicken was kinda dry this 2nd visit. But that happens, I’m not giving up on Pollo Alteno at all.

The prices are fair, the salsa is good, the decor is pretty sweet. My grandson was enamoured of their Dia de los Muertos skull picture (it was a colorful pic, not scary at all).

I hope you try this place, we’ll def be back for sure!!

The place is already great, came in on seafood Sunday and I am more than impressed. The service is Michelin level and the food matches that energy. It’s obvious they’re growing and expanding right now so I’m glad to get in before this spot gets blown up. If you’re free on a Sunday and enjoy Real Mexican seafood this is a great spot to land.

Esmeralda took great care of us, 3p-8p and you Will Not be disappointed.

I’ve heard that their chicken is really good. Got a 3 pc. combo with rice and refried beans and guacamole. The flavor of the chicken was like nothing that I’ve ever tasted. Got 2 legs and a thigh. No white meat. Can’t say that I’m a fan of it. Refried beans were weird. Rice was ok. Guacamole was really good. Wife got beef and cheese quesadillas. Very little beef and said it was just OK. Not a place that we’ll probably ever revisit. Pretty unimpressive.
