One of our favorite restaurants, every single time
My family and I have been coming here regularly, not always on a perfect schedule but definitely often enough to know the food is consistently great. Every visit is just as good as the last.
I always think about taking pictures, but the food disappears before I even remember. We usually end up eating in complete silence because everything tastes that good. The salsa hits perfectly, and every dish has the exact flavor it needs. They keep salt and pepper on the table, but nothing needs it at all. It almost feels rude to reach for them.
The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can tell they care about what they serve. They also offer catering, which we’re seriously thinking about trying.
If you’re considering stopping by, just go! You’ll immediately understand why we keep coming back!

The restaurant knows how to cook for sure with a wide array of options including American food. The flavor and quality is great BUT it was considerably more expensive than anticipated. For my family of 3, we spent close to $50. Everything has a charge, including water. No refills allowed and the cuisine is probably 20% higher then other very comparable restaurants. Tacos had a decent amount of carne, but not a lot. I will probably not go again unfortunately due to the cost. The restroom unfortunately smelled like cigarettes as well.

The hubby i wanted to real authenticity food and we found it. As soon as we walked in we were greeted in a warm friendly professional manner. The food came out hot and fresh. The price to food portions was prefect. We definitely will return to try more food items. We did play it safe with taco plates, but they for sure passed my first test. Up next menduo and churros ☺️.

Amazing service, family owned business. Met the son and the father that run the business, super sweet and the food is AMAZING. Authentic!!!!! I got the trompo and Al pastor tacos, so good. Will be coming back, not only for the food, but for the service and friendly environment.

The owner is so friendly, good atmosphere and the food is authentic Mexican food. The best in DFW and it’s attributed to their fresh, quality ingredients. You have to get the burrito loco!!!!! AND THE SHRIMP TACO it is the BEST shrimp taco ever (I’m from California, we know shrimp tacos).

This place is right in the corner of my house and it’s officially became my new go to spot. Everything was excellent from the service, the atmosphere and most importantly the authentic and delicious food I ate. The staff was so welcoming, courteous and beyond genuine. This gem most definitely needs more recognition and if possible more locations in the future!

My family only makes menudo once a year, so I came here to give theirs a try and it was really good! While the menudo does have good flavor on its own, they put extra seasoning on the side so that you can season it to your liking which I really appreciate. It’s also not mostly broth like other places I’ve tried. I also like that there’s an option to get it without hominy!
Customer service was great as well.
Edit: would also like to add that the portion size was enough for 2-3 servings, so it’s definitely shareable or enough for leftovers 🙂

Update: AMAZING! The tacos are so bomb, shrimp tacos are amazing and the POZOLE was delicious!!! Must try and it is definitely a gem here in Mesquite. Authentic and great customer service and atmosphere
We tried this place for the first time and loved it! Salsas were great! ☺️ totally recommend and a must try! We tried a torta with fries, 2 shrimp tacos and an asada taco, it was all delicious!
