Outstanding burgers. Saw an online review and drove from west Michigan to try the 10 Oz. burger. Outstanding. Great seasoning. Plenty of real beef. Hand cut fries. Cooked perfectly. Spoke to the owner. Great person with lots of experience. Worth the drive for lunch and then the obligatory stop at Cabela’s in Dundee. Drove back on M50 and US 12. Owner says to call first to make sure they’re staffed adequately.

This place was a completely random pick by my date while we were looking for somewhere to grab a bite for heading to the movies. Credit where it’s due,she picked a winner. It’s a dive bar with a friendly bartender/cook. I had the mushroom burger with hand cut fries. This smash burger masterpiece was seasoned just right,juicy and very filling. Fries were perfect and bravo for making malt vinegar one of the condiments available. Dash some of that on your fries. I’ll be back again.

My mother and her boyfriend went here after seeing the video from the Burger Review Guy and had the worst dinning experience of their lives. The owner was their waitress and treated them and the table next to them extremely badly. First she tried to order a drink asked for Sprite and Starry and she gave my mother a horrible reaction because they didn’t have either. When she went to order she said she wants the burger that the BRG had in the video. The owner snapped with an attitude “IDC about that guy”. After waiting over an hour at a restaurant with barely anyone in it they got their food which they liked. The owner asked if she’d like more napkins “referring to the BRG and how he mentions if he gets napkins with his order”. They said yes and she stole them from the table next to her ” they were also there because of the BRG” which also upset that group. In the building the walls and ceiling are full of dollar bills, my mother asked what the story was behind that and the owner snapped “I just don’t want to clean the place”. Later they overheard he saying how awful her life was because of running the place. Ma’am of you don’t like the man who brought you business and having said business…. sell it and stop being miserable.

What an absolute gem, I think my gf bought everyone of the owners yarn crafts, Denise is a gem and nothing better than family owned, yes I took a picture of the bathroom because it’s the coolest bathroom ever. Excellent service Excellent food Any bad review on here is mostly because some grown adults don’t know how to act in public.
