I got the asada street tacos. Absolutely delicious, flavorful, not overly filled and perfect balance of toppings to meat. Verde sauce was perfect too. The gentleman that took my order was very kind and quick.

Honestly, kind of disappointed. I deliver in this area sometimes and have been wanting to try this food cart, they have a lot of options. Ordered the macho burrito w/ chorizo. Burrito was not macho sized at all and all the grease from the chorizo took over the burrito. I order chorizo burritos all the time from other places and haven’t had to deal with one this greasy.

This place is excellent. Great food and service. The best food cart in Portland. It’s close to Good Sam hospital (about 6 minutes). That makes it a wise choice to eat there. There’s no restroom.

Wonderful quantities as well as great taste. Usually when you buy a burrito for a $6:50 you expect a descent size and alright quality. When you come to La Sabrosita, expect some great flavor as well.
I would personally recommend a burrito.

U just paid 18$ for these 4 tacos, these tacos are dollar tacos at best, lack flavor, what a rip off. And they wanted 5$ for a bottle of coke.

Highway robbery.

I have been craving some Mexican food and keep passing by this place; today I took the plunge and tried it out.

The cart is plain and simple – burritos, tacos, tortas, and a few other items. I asked the person what their fan favorite/ most popular item was, they indicated the Macho Burrito.

There is some nice shaded area with picnic benches but that’s really about it… the food cart space had a coffee cart, with a sign saying there was space for more carts. Would love to see this have more carts, maybe some plants or something around, more seating…

Anyways, service was super friendly and quick. Big thumbs up here!

I got my burrito and brought it back to my office. I was pleasantly surprised by how much was in the burrito, but I would hope so for a burrito that is almost $10 by itself.

I asked for the habanero sauce. I used a little of it, was surprisingly mild – but tasty.

All together, was it decent? Yeah, it was alright. I think they need to knock a dollar or two off the Macho Burrito for me to go with it again. Next time I’m tempted to go with the tacos, being they’re only $2 each.

Their food and service was good enough that I’d recommend this over Angels Taqueria or El Diablito if I had to pick the places around there.

This is my newest favorite food truck! I love great Mexican food and La Sabrosita has been hitting the spot for me. They are very friendly at the window and always helpful with any questions. The quality of ingredients is excellent and the food is made with love and care. My favorite is the shredded chicken flautas, but the tortas and tacos are also delicious.

There is no shortage of good mexican food on NW 23rd Ave and I travel a few minutes further north on the street to get to this excellent taqueria on wheels. It is located in the Slabtown Foodcart pod, which is often overlooked with Nobhill pod being nearby. They open early at 7:30am, which is a great way to start a busy day.

Very good El pastor and pretty good carne asada, just got turned onto this place because another place was closed and now I’m glad I found it and will be going back more often.

Pretty solid for what it is. The burrito was a little heavy on the rice, The carne was solid as was the sausage.
