this place is not authentic, it just feels like a VERY commercialized taco joint- i mean look at the hot sauce PACKETS. the al pastor tacos are not made well. their chips are crunchy and not stale, that was really the only plus. sigh. there definitely was some sort of rebranding or new owner. get your mexican food elsewhere.

Take out for 5 people, amazing food. Live in the neighborhood for so long and my son has told me about this place he had been ordering few times so we decided to do family lunch. We all had been so nicely surprised. Lovely lady at the counter, and order was quick. Definitely will be our new place to eat. Truly recommend tacos and burritos and quesadillas. Perfect size.

I walked in and was greeted right away. I told the host Ashlee it was my first time and she guided me through everything step by step. My boyfriend and I got the chicken milanesa and beef quesebirria. But one thing she left me hanging and didn’t put forks. Food was hellla fireeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

I’ve been coming here since they first opened, and it’s easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in Queens. The food is always flavorful, comforting, and consistently delicious. I order takeout/delivery at least once a week. The hostess, Ashlee, is always pleasant and welcoming, which makes every visit even better. I highly recommend the birria burrito.

We ordered some burritos from here and they were truly awful. I mean bad. The wrappers were soaked completely through with grease. I had a ship burrito and the shrimp smelled like a dirty old sponge.

La ruta del taco is the best I always request delivery or to pick up the cashier Gabriela is very friendly and sweet! It serves very well, it makes you feel like family! The cooks are undoubtedly the best of this restaurant too!

Food was great when they 1st open .. had it recently and it wasn’t so great.. decided to give this spot another chance and it was even worse this time I had Al pastor tacos it was dry, Meat was hard like leather the Tortilla was also dry and very over cooked . Sadly I wouldn’t return . Better off having tacos at Don tequila might be alittle far but the quality of the food is great.
