I recently attended La Rumba‘s first ever Latin brunch and from my experience going to many brunches in my life. This has to be one of the best atmospheres and service in the Silver Spring area. The drinks were reasonably priced and also had a good ratio of liquor for the bank for your buck so if you’re looking to get a taste of Salvadoran Mexican or just Latin food in general, you’ll get a sample of every type of food you would want to here .

I’ve only been here late when it’s a sports bar and/or club set-up. Decent prices, a good number of TVs, although expect most to be showing the same thing. No complaints. But again, no experience with the food/restaurant side of things.

SCAMMERS! My friends and I went to this place for drinks and i paid with my card. I left the bartender a tip in cash and crossed out the tip line on the receipt. They committed FRAUD and added a $20 tip to my card!!! I called twice and they hung up on me while laughing. Suddenly saying they dont speak English. HORRIBLE.

Was a little disappointed by the complimentary salsa that came at the beginning of the meal, but everything that came after that was legit. Some great flavors. A great representation of Central American cooking. Some nice cocktails too.

Food is amazing and deserves 5 stars! Love their fajitas! The only drawback is the service. Some of the waitresses can be a bit mean and inattentive. I only carry out to avoid it. Food is seriously good!

I honestly don’t understand how this place is scored so high. I went once and will never go again. Maybe as a bar and hang out? As a restaurant however, no way. The food is not good. There are so many restaurants around Wheaton with amazing Spanish food. This place is not it.

The food is not good. The restaurant is not clean. I saw a roach crawling on one of the chairs at the end of my dinner. The service is terrible. One of the workers by the name of Maria was very rude to me when an asked for extra sauce. I will never go back here.
