I’m so happy they are open nights again! I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve tried from there. The chicken enchiladas are so freaking good! Their salsa is so good, the Mac and cheese is amazing, rice and beans perfect. We got take out tonight but every time we’ve eaten there the service is great. The young man that took Togo our order was very sweet and patient with me. We also got the 2 desserts they had a mini chocoflan and a lemon cake and they were both delicious! It says it’s under new management but the food still tastes the same. They also have one of the best Philly cheesesteaks that I’ve had in this area. We love supporting small local businesses so y’all give this place a shot.

The food was delicious! The red chilaquiles were full of flavor, but my favorite was definitely the café de olla, I even had to get a second cup to go!”

To know me is to know that I CAN’T STAND TEX MEX, which is why I avoid them. Me and my guy visited this place today (9/18/25), not knowing it was Tex Mex. For the first time, I’m happy we were unaware because we would have never given this place a chance. Listen to me when I tell you. This place is A1. The food was seasoned WELL to where I’m thinking there’s someone black in that kitchen (I could be wrong of course). Between me and my guy, he spent $60(not including tip). We got the Mexican Porkchop Platter with rice and beans, pancakes, Mexican coffee, regular coffee, chocolate cake, Parillada(steak, chicken, shrimp, and sausage), and sweet tea. From the chicken, to shrimp, steak, sausage, and pork chop, each item had its own flavor, still with that grilled flavor (I appreciated how each item had its own flavor versus tasting the same if that makes sense). But, let’s pause from the food. The service alone would have had me return. The staff was so friendly. We got there an hour before closing and they still welcomed us. Another couple came in about BEFORE closing but they weren’t turned around. Them, like us, was greeted with a smile and A1 service (i overheard them complimenting the service and food to each other). If you’re considering this place, I am voting yes. This is now MY Mexican place. I loved it. I loved it so much so I had to compliment the manager on my waitresses service as well as the food. I will be back SOON. *I didn’t take pictures of the food before eating so you get what you get* lol

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. It was my first time visiting, and I came from across town expecting something worth the trip but it definitely wasn’t. The service was terrible, especially considering the high prices on the menu.

From the moment we sat down, it felt like the servers didn’t want to be there. We waited about 10 minutes before anyone even brought us menus, and during that time we weren’t offered water, chips, or anything at all. When the utensils were finally brought out, they were practically tossed onto the table.

The whole experience was unwelcoming and unprofessional, so we decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Honestly, it’s not worth the drive or the wait save your time and find a place that values its customers. Social media hyped this place way too much and unfortunately did not get to taste the food and coffee sold out as soon as we walked in.

The food is not really authentic Mexican style. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t what I expected. The sauce was more sweet than flavorful, and it didn’t have any spice at all. They also added certain ingredients to the meals that, in my opinion, don’t really match and end up changing the original flavor. The olla coffee was great

The food was amazing, the service was phenomenal the staff remained attentive to all its patrons. I love how spacious the place was, enough space between the other tables and didn’t feel crammed like other breakfast places. The café de olla was amazing, made sure to ask for a cup to go. We arrived when the doors opened to avoid having to wait and impressed with how well prepared they were to greet customers and our waitress was beyond friendly.
