Food was excellent. I am unfamiliar with Peruvian food but can say we both enjoyed it a lot. Quiet little neighborhood restaurant. We shared the Papa Rellena as an appetizer then shared the beef Lomo Saltado. Both great choices!

Very nice place, bright and airy. Delicious food especially the bisteck a lo pobre. Not too busy at all when we came around 5pm on a weekday, and service was good. NOTE: there isn’t a lot of parking available around the building.

This is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! I’ve been there twice , once to dine in but it’s temporarily take-out. The take out food is just as good. Today I ordered the Oregano Chicken which was unbelievably delicious. I hope they will open for in house dining soon as they can. Even though it’s take out for now, I highly recommend you patronizing their business. You won’t be disappointed. Everyone who works there is exceptionally nice and welcoming. Please go!

This rating is according to the restaurant category. It’s not La Mar, it’s not a Puerto 27, not Limon. However, the food is great, the service was wonderful, and the prices are reasonable. The soups de pollo was very good, and so was their Lomo saltado. The chicha morada was spot on. I certainly intend to go back, with friends, to continue sampling their other dishes.

Great little restaurant in the neighborhood. We often go to Limon for our Peruvian food, but now we will be going to La Ronda. All of our food was great. We had Yuka fries, calamari, and ceviche mix to to start. All were as good if not better than Limon. For dinner we had picante de mariscos, arroz chaufa de mariscos, pescado al mojo de ajo, and mar y tierra. Every one loved the food. The only issue is they do not have a liquor license. But we brought our own, which is welcomed. In a way it saved us some $$, since there is no corkage fee.

Very fresh food, generous portions. And courteous service. Will eat there again next year when I attend Bachata festival in San Mateo Marriott hotel.

Try the red snapper fish “pescado sudado” and the calamari and empanadas. The empanadas are surprisingly sweet in a good way and all of the food tastes “light/delicate” but extremely flavorful. Good portions and staff. Parking is a challenge but you can park in the neighborhood next to the gas station or across near BevMo.
