Amazing food!! Delicious!! and prices are sort of fair. The place is clean and neat!!. Margaritas were the best!! The only thing I didn’t like was the mandatory service fee which has high and I didn’t expect to have that in my check since we were only a party of 4. My suggestion is to inform the customers about this charge from the very beginning, or in the menu. That will improve the experience.

Food had no flavor, the drink i order was not good. Service was bad. Took a long time to get water and my son a sprite which was in a bottle. At least tell me you had sirera mist for foundation drinks $5 for the bottle. My son’s steak was so tough and the rice was bland. Maybe because I was Black and the look when I came in was they was shocked. I make good money so I was out running a few errands and decided to try it out. Never again.

Average food. Service is TERRIBLE, the management is not customer oriented at all. Simply tried to explain the drink had way to much syrup and he was dismissive. Then there a 15% undisclosed service fee i took issue with. I assume this is mandated because its empty during a dinner service and the service is TERRIBLE. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Want really good Mexican food? This is the place! The decor is inviting, the music festive and the food is awesome. Specials every day of the week. Taco Tuesday saves up $1 tacos and cervezas are $1.25 on Wednesdays! The food is flavorful and chips and salsa start off your meal. What a delightful place for breakfast, lunch or dinner!!

On 12/02/23, I and my Niece had dinner at La Riviera. I was visiting from out of town and my Niece lives in NC and previously dined at this restaurant. The food was great! We had good service. My issue is that when I received my bill, it had an 18% TIPS; $12.41 charge on it. It was not an option. Now the “customer copy” of the bill had an tip section that you could enter an amount. We question the waiter about it and then all of an sudden “he doesn’t speak English” even though he spoken nothing but English when we spoke with him all during dinner. He got the Manager who stated they “charge” everyone 18% tip on the bill, no matter the size of the party. In my case it was only two of us. The service and food was good and I was thinking of leaving an 20% cash tip. I only paid the tip due to the services by the waiter and an waitress. I believe that billing a tip is against the law until less you have an large dinner party and it is stated on the menu, which I did not see. I complained to the BBB and they stated this restaurant wouldn’t reply to the complaint. I would be very careful dinning here based on their billing practices.
