After being told they could not seat our party of 8 we were placed up over the stage and forgotten about. We had to stop someone who worked there to see who our server was. The food was good and the live band were great.

I ordered 2 chimichanga meals and the rice was real dry and i couldnt eat the chimichanga because it looked like they opened a slice of american cheese and put on top. What i did try of it was cooked in old oil and tasted rancid. We also ordered 4 ground beef tacos and they were so greasy that the meat fell through the shell when we opened it. This place used to be the best but after that meal we will never be going here again.

Check out the NEW parking lot-freshly paved and painted, with plenty of spaces too! Don’t forget to notice those singing Toads outside-so fun! The place was nice & clean, the booth was comfy, even the bathroom was clean and sanitary. Loved that cozy feeling and friendly greeting from the hostess. Where to sit? Well your offerings are the hopping Tiki Bar, the Kareoke area, or a comfy booth built for conversing! A good starter that won’t fill me up, but gets my taste buds ready to go-enter the warm, crispy tortilla chips dripping in the dreamy house cheese sauce; but if cheese is not your jam the salsa is delicious, fresh and herbaceous too. For an entree, the Mexican Pasta; an ooey-gooey concoction of creamy, buttery, saucy goodness won’t disappoint! This specialty of the house is filled with Penne pasta, succulent grilled chicken and plump, juicy shrimp, with tender broccoli heads to top it off! I could have made a meal out of the Parmesan Cheese toast bursting with buttery, cheesy goodness, and that crispy crust. The portion sizes are beyond bountiful, so I’ll have to come back soon because the Dessert menu looked very inviting, boasting chocolate and ice cream too! La Rivera Mexican Cantina will transport you on a culinary visit you’ll want to take again and again at prices that won’t curb your appetite!

6/22/2024: This was a delicious meal. Taco Salad Fajitas with steak and chunky full-flavored salsa were excellent. Also enjoyed fried ice cream with lots of raisins for dessert. The waiter was very attentive and the food was served quickly. I qant to rst there again soon.

There has been a few times that I’ve been here and things was not good but they have a manager there now that really seems to care about their customers i was not going to even eat it got to me that much but the manager came over and we had a great conversation about what was going on and this man stepped up and made things right. And i don’t mean with free food or discount but by redoing the food to me this means more than any discount or free stuff because I believe you should get what you give. I will be coming back more often again with my family just because of the manager and his kindness.
