Reminds me of my grandmother’s (mi abuela’s) awesome cooking. I had the Honduran enchiladas and refried beans. Delicioso! Will be back. Hasta luego!

Good food. Had the shrimp plate and ordered a side of plantains which all tasted great. Had to ding stars for two reasons:

1) For the amount of food I had and the environment $20 is a bit pricey for one person (my opinion of course)

2) Took a while for someone to get my order and a very long time to check out. It is also a store with other functions going on so plan accordingly especially it you are on a time crunch.

Overall, the food was good so it is definitely worth checking out.

I got the pan fried fish and it was superb. My wife got the steak and taco soup which was also superb. I’ve been to Honduras many times to visit friends and this restaurant’s food and atmosphere made me forget that I was in Baton Rouge. It was a wonderful authentic meal and atmosphere.

LOVE this little hole in the wall… With all the commercial crap flooding the city, it’s great to have genuine and authentic food! Steak taco and tortilla soup is my favorite! They asked about decor, not something I worry about… Small and simple like most great finds!

Until someone can point me to anywhere else in BR that sells pupusas and horchata, this place is top notch. The staff is friendly and this is a family run business. I never regret dining here because the flavors are all authentic and everything is well seasoned from the rice to the fish.

Wonderful food and service. If you like Spanish food this restaurant is a real treat. My husband and I keep going back and trying different things. All have been wonderful. We both highly recommend La Reyna!

Wasn’t exactly what I expected, but pretty much pleased. Tostones/tajadas were delicious!

I was born in Honduras, now a US citizen, and I can say this is the most authentic Honduran cuisine in the Capital Area. I love the beef soup with bone-in for a rich flavor. The stewed pork on rice or puerco guisado is delicious. Horchata is a rice water drink, cool and sweet. Give these three sisters a try!

BEWARE FALSELY ADVERTISED PRICES!!! Their menu online has prices starting at 5.99, but they actually charge you 8.79 and up, regardless of “lunch specials”! I tried to ask why they do not honor their advertised prices and was met with “no.” I don’t mind that the staff speaks very little English – until they steal from me and can’t tell me why!

My favorite Hispanic food eatery. Authentic Honduran dishes. Don’t come here looking for chips and salsa and other Tex Mex dishes.
