I tried this place, my first visit I got menudo. It wasn’t great, but not bad either. A normal menudo. The thing is that I got the large, but it’s more a medium. And a small spoon, but after requesting another they gave me a normal size.
My second visit I got the test of the menu to check it out, The pata (cook pork foot) is served in a soup, similar to menudo but just the soup. The portion is small, like a. quarter of one of them and no bread or tortilla was offered with it. Good flavor, for the price a half would be better.
I tried the tamales, red (beef meat) and the rajas con queso (grenn chile strips and cheese). These are good, not dry, and good flavor, but the portion also is small, again, they should be double the size.
And for last I tried the barbacoa burrito, I like the kind of meat they have, nice flavor and good value. Only down no hot sauce, maybe for you is good because the red sauce that they have is tasty, but not hot enough, mild.
They sell the soda by can or bottle.
All the utensils are disposable, depending on your point of view, good or bad.
The parking is restricted, as is almost a horse business, so you have the street outside. The seating is about six tables, comfortable.
The business legend is confusing, as they don’t have the name outside but a different thing saying wrap&roll, and a sign for another business on the back.
I didn’t see a ramp for access, but maybe there’s one.

I tried the menudo, tamales, and barbacoa because I kept hearing all the hype about this place, and honestly, it lived up to every bit of it. The menudo was rich and flavorful, the tamales were soft and perfectly seasoned, and the barbacoa had that tender, melt-in-your-mouth taste you hope for. Service was just as impressive. My waiter was quick, attentive, and made sure everything was on point without hovering. Definitely going again.

This is the spot. Cute Sunday date . The menudo is very good and clean. The bread amazing soft and buttery. The barbacoa is tasty. Lime with cucumber drink was yuuuuuuum. The way it’s set up is cute but putting up a better sign right in the entry Definitely a must go. You have to try this menudo

The food was decent but the portions were small. $8.50 for a mini torta and the tamal fell apart as soon as I bit into it because it wasn’t cooked right. Upon seeing the reviews, it seems they have a hard time taking customer criticism and always resort to making excuses for their business flaws. The food industry is definitely not for everyone yikes…

They open fridays, saturdays and sundays only from 8 am to 2 pm. Serve tamales, menudo and barbacoa. Good taste. Very nice old house in central area. Have to ser it!

They do only two things, and they do it extremely well. Classic definition of a hole on the wall with great, authentic food. Give them a chance, you will not regret it. Small place, about six tables maybe? Very clean. Very tasty menudo and barbacoa.

I am not a barbacoa fan, but this place has made me a lover. Its really clean barbacoa and menudo. They are very consistent in their flavors. It has become a Sunday tradition for my family. Love this menudo!

I’ve been here a couple of times the Barbacoa is so good as well as the menudo, but this visit was a little different I got a 32 oz menudo to take and when I opened it, it wasn’t filled up to where I would expect it and to top it off it was more juice than meat and hominy. Was kinda disappointed for the price. But over all I hope to have a better experience next time.
