Food was ok, ordered shrimp and it was hard and dry overcooked. No cocktail sauce. I asked. Sides were old, lettuce was brown on edges. My husband ordered the oysters and those were good. But he had explosive diarrhea on the way back to Yuma. He also had the red snapper and he said it was good. Said it served steak, but didn’t until after four. Also the music they played was hard rock and not suitable for restaurants

This place surprised me. The staff was friendly and attentive. They were glad to offer suggestions and we were all very pleased with the food we got. The first day I had tacos, and came back the second day and got a T-bone steak. Unfortunately, I didn’t snag a picture of my main entrees. The photo is from our appetizer, which was Octopus. It was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant. Don’t let the surrounding area scare you away from trying it.

La Resaca is the place to be for seafood! It has made consistently very large portions of ceviche and aguachile dishes the two times I visited. Their dining hall is large and can accommodate large parties. I definitely recommend that you try their tacos and fresh ceviche.

The reason I’m not reviewing higher is for the management, the waitress nice. The food was good, but I’m not sure I’ll be back. I wanted water with my meal and was told they wouldn’t serve it unless I paid for it in the form of d a water bottle. I don’t drink soda and rarely alcohol. I drink water with every meal (never bottles) so all I can say is come on! There are too many other places I could go that have great ceviche and which serve water not served in disposable plastic.

Garlic shrimp was delicious but the rice had no flavor and was mushy, the salad was good except is was on top of a bed of garlic oil witch i found to be ok cause I like garlic but under a salad i would not add. The tortillas was not hand made and was just warmed up but back to the seafood witch was cooked to perfection and could of used a few more larger garlic pieces to give it that extra kick, they also had no coffee available and just a lemonade was of Choice cause there was no horchata or Jamaica available either but it was ok cause the customer service was awesome and the shrimp was yummy

Best Seafood Bar & Grill in Town.

The Best aguachile and Fresh Tuna tostada Too.

They have a lot Of different Style Of plates, but they specialized on Baja Mediterrean food (BajaMed) an infusion with the the Best local ingredients.

And they have a good selection Of draft beer and bottle Beers, as well Classic but Goodie mixology.

You need to try before you leave the Imperial Valley !

Food was fine, not super good, but not bad. Had Mahi Mahi ceviche and grilled jumpo shrimp. The shrimp was plain without much flavor.

Brilliant Mexican ceviches and aguachiles. Also great seafood tostadas and tacos. Everything tasted fresh and looked good. Do yourself a favour and pop by here, you won’t regret it. Prices are also reasonable.

This restaurant is a great location with great food, being ruined by management. When we got here on a Saturday afternoon, the scene was pure chaos. No one was at the front to welcome customers, and the two waiters they had on staff were running around trying to help several large tables. The manager who thought to only staff TWO waiters for weekend dinner service should be absolutely feel ashamed. Two- they had extremely loud performers on stage for dinner service. Usually I’m not the type to complain about this sort of thing, but they were playing on a very small room as if they were playing at a concert. We couldn’t even have a conversation at our table, and we had chosen the table that was farthest away from the group as it was already. Third, since there was almost no staff in front of house, guests were doing obnoxious things like leaving the doors open during a heatwave, throwing trash around etc. and there was no one around to stop them or correct the chaos. I left the poor two guys that were waiting in is a big tip, but man. Who ever is manager of this restaurant should be raked against the coals, as it’s a miracle the hard working staff keep things moving under their poor leadership.
