We’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and this is the only one that gives you 6 different salsas with chips. That’s right, SIX! They are all delicious and their beer and mixed drink prices are very reasonable. The food is good, and the service is fast and friendly. I highly recommend this place. I had the California Burrito and my husband had chicken wings and a side of rice.

We waited quite awhile for a table. We were waiting for the Buddhist Monks to leave and continue their Peace walk to DC. It was pretty packed. Thought the staff handled the chaos quite well. Looks to be like a old Dennys they’ve remade into a Mexican restaurant. Once sat you get some chips with 3 dips! Salsa, Mango Salsa and bean dip. All were tasty especially the Mango! Food was pretty quick. Overall it was pretty good. Solid food. Unfortunately they batter thier Chile Relleno, which I peeled off, but it left that soggy egg batter taste, ugg. Everyone else said their food was good. Ordered a small beer and got a giant mug! Think it was a mix up, but at $6 it was a deal. Would definitely go back just for the dips though.

The dishes were dirty, menus were dirty, the walls were gross, the ceiling had an alarming amount of mold growing above us… wouldn’t come back because of how dirty it is. The food was good, drinks were good too & service. It was weird that we had 3 different “servers” come up to us. One took our food order & delivered food, one asked for our drinks & got confused. One came & got our bill.

I waited toooooo long to try this place. We’ve lived in Chester for a year now and we’ve tried many of the Mexican restaurant options in the area. I don’t know why, but we kept passing this place up. Well we will now be regulars! I ordered something I wouldn’t normally order (shrimp enchiladas on the lunch menu) to really test and see if it would be good enough to make me return. It was soooo good I had to really use self control to save my leftover for the next day. The only reason I had leftovers was because the chips and dip (including complimentary bean dip) was so filling I was full by the time my meal came out. They bring you three dips and they are all delicious. I can’t comment on the drinks because I was there for lunch and it was a little too early for me, but they brought a margarita out to a table next to us and it was gigantic. So if you’re going for size then you will not be disappointed. I am so excited we finally found a place in the area we feel is worth returning to.

we went for dinner. We had the el texana. Shrimp,Chicken, and Steak with onions and peppers covered in cheese(queso). Was really goid and served hot. Everything was tasty and the diner type setting was nice too. The service was good. I gave it four stars only because they are very busy with a small staff that needed extra time to bring the bill or refill a drink. Other than thst the staff was attentive and friendly.

I stopped by La Reina Mexican Grill yesterday and had a decent experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the place itself was clean and inviting. They served complimentary chips with salsa as an appetizer, and I have to say—they were excellent. The chips were warm, crispy, and tasted freshly made, perfectly paired with their flavorful salsa.

As for the main course, I ordered the grilled chicken breast dish called Pollo Loco. While the food was good overall, it didn’t quite meet my expectations in terms of flavor. It wasn’t bad, just a bit underwhelming for my taste.

That said, I’d still come back and try something else from the menu. The atmosphere and service make it worth a second visit, and I have a feeling there are better dishes waiting to be discovered.
