Pork tacos were fabulous! Beautifully moist, fatty, crispy pork with fresh pico and nice, thick corn tortillas. Salsa was super flavourful. Mission-style burrito was fine, but on the gloopy-soft side. Lazy service–long waits and no water refills.

The chips were stale and thin, the salsa was not refilled, and our dishes lacked overall flavor. The sangria and atmosphere was ok. The service took a while to get to us (on a Monday). I don’t think we’ll be coming back with so many other options in the neighborhood.

This is the burrito to get if you are hungover at 8am on a Sunday. Loved the avocado, pork was satisfying. Great price. This wasn’t the burrito I wanted but it was the burrito I needed. If it’s normal taqueria business hours, I recommend you visit another establishment for a better burrito, but for 8am hangover, I will definitely be back. That being said, If y’all could do something about the mushy rice that would be great

Warning! Deceptive pricing!

We were charged $14.95 each for dishes that were listed at $12.95 in the menu. It turns out there was a sign on the front window stating that prices are $1 more than is printed in the menu because of inflation, but we did not see this sign before we ordered. And we saw nothing in the actual menu that we ordered from that said anything about a price increase. And then on top of that, they charged us an additional $1 with a vague story about the dishes costing more because they had eggs. I thought this kind of practice was illegal, but in today’s zero-accountability atmosphere in SF, who even knows? And the food was very ordinary — edible and filling, but nothing special. We will never return.

Mexican restaurant with pretty large portion sizes but also pretty bland food. You’ll get full up here but it’s not so tasty. If you just want to eat a lot, this is a good option. Bathroom was pretty gross. Service was ok. Don’t get the non alcoholic sangria. It was ridiculously sweet and not drinkable.

Discovered this little cafe several yrs back as it’s one of the few in the mission district opened before 8am on Sunday. Unlike Cancun(my favorite) it’s more of a sit down place to relax and enjoy your meal. The birria is amazing here and so are all the dishes I’ve tried. The tortillas are homemade and thick like pancakes. I recommend any dish that comes with tortillas.
