A great variety of seafood to choose from We enjoyed the shrimp cakes the most. Other dishes we tried were: stuffed mussels, fried monkfish, and octopus ‘con cachelos’. They were interesting and we enjoyed our overall experience.

One of the best seafood restaurants I have EVER been too! There are some restaurants you will never forget and if you love seafood, Pulperia de Paco is one of them. The Pulpo (octopus) with potatoes is the signature dish. The restaurant has an extensive menu and you will be spoilt for choice. One thing you are guaranteed is fresh seafood cooked to perfection. Rather suprisingly the menu had a large selection of desserts. When in Salamanca Pulperia de Paco is a must visit!

Fabulous no 1 favourite opposite the train station. Always packed: legend has it that they turnover double the next in the list. Try octopus with potatos, prawns, seasoned battered dogfish (cazon) and cheesecake. Service is brisk, atmosphere local, noisy and very casual (high tables).

Scam Alert: be careful, they overcharge on the bill. Make sure your order is correct when you order and double check the bill (Their menu and prices are written in the way to confuse you). We end up paying 40€ instead of 20€. Other than that, the food is good.
