As expected, a very good meal. Ordered the crab salad, foie gras and beef carpaccio for appetizers. Crab salad was better with gruyere on the side. For main courses we had the rabbit pasta, corvina fish and duck confit, all excellent. Service was present but not overbearing, the patio was very pleasant for a fall evening. We’ll return.

La Provence in Ambler was such a pleasant surprise! The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, which really added to the experience. I left feeling so happy and can’t wait to go back.

This place is a gem in a charming town with impeccable service. Delroy was a true pro (how he remembered all those daily specials details is miraculous)! The food is very tasty and only regret was as an out of towner I didnt bring my wine. I’d forgotten licenses are astronomical up here and so many places are BYOB. Perhaps a little more prominent disclosure there would help us Rookies. Bon appetit…

This is the best French meal I’ve had since being in France. The staff are great, everyone was attentive and friendly. The food is fantastic, from the bread and butter to desert, everything was wonderful. Escargot, Caesar salad, lamb tenderloin and chocolate mouse. All a step above. I wish this restaraunt was in my hometown.

We had my mother’s 90th birthday party here and the food was delicious and service was excellent. We had a room with a fireplace and chandelier – so cozy and pretty.

I had my birthday dinner at La Provenance and had a delightful experience. The service was exceptional, with staff being incredibly friendly and attentive, especially when it came to explaining menu items.
As for the food, the appetizers and soup were standout dishes, bursting with rich flavor. While the main dishes were enjoyable, they fell slightly short of expectations, lacking that extra oomph to make them truly memorable.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was charming, with romantic outdoor lighting visible from indoors, making it an ideal spot for couples celebrating a special occasion.
One important thing to note is that they are a BYOB restaurant, so be sure to bring your favorite bottle (we forgot). Overall, it’s a lovely spot with great potential, especially for those seeking a cozy and romantic dining experience.

From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, you are treated to an incredible experience. The wait staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly good at their jobs. They weren’t hovering, allowing you to enjoy your meal, but never left wondering where they were.
The food was great, flavorful, and very well presented. I had the escargots and the rack of lamb. The desserts were surprisingly larger portions than we expected, or needed, but were excellent as well.
The atmosphere was romantic, you could easily hear each other talk, and the overall location is great.
I highly recommend La Provence, we will be back next time there is a special occasion!

My partner and I went here for our anniversary and I cannot recommend it enough. We had an early reservation and were seated in a very romantic nook for two. Our waiter Delroy was wonderful, he had great recommendations and took excellent care of us. All of the staff were excellent and the food was divine, we started with a foie gras special that was so unique, I ordered the duck and my partner ordered the bison ribeye special both were the perfect temperature and tasted amazing. We decided to treat ourselves and get two desserts instead of splitting one like we usually do and I am so glad we did, we ordered a cold Kahlua souffle and the Ile Flottante which were a wonderful way to end the meal. If you are looking for a special place to have dinner I would definitely recommend La Provence, I certainly can’t wait to go back

The menu stays true to classic French fare. The escargots were excellent, rich, tender, and full of flavor. The croquettes were less impressive, lacking personality. The fish special was average. The flavor was pleasant but the texture was too firm. The dessert, an île flottante, was the highlight, light, elegant, and creatively done.

Very nice place with very friendly service. The cheese board was a great starter and my wife’s fish was the winning entree. My rack of lamb had more potential that would have been well served with a small side of extra sauce. Alas, by the time the server came to check, the potatoes were a bit cool and the extra sauce took a while. The Lamb made some great steak and eggs the next morning.
I plan to return here again to sample more offerings.
