Our server Anna was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything came out smoothly without rushing us. The pacing of the meal felt just right and the overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming.
Parking was easy, we were seated quickly, and the prices felt fair for the quality and portion sizes. This was one of those meals where everything hits and you leave already thinking about what you would order next time. We will absolutely be back.
Unlike someone had mentioned, the chips & salsa weren’t complimentary! The carne asada was good enough. Since I could use more flavoring / spiciness – I asked for a hot sauce .. which they didn’t have but harbenero sauce was available for purchase?! – which also was just ok!
So there’s no free chips and no free hot sauce…and on top, the waitress seemed to be in the face, anxy, and dropping stuff all around us! Finally – I asked for the check (as in – I wanted to see a print out) 3 separate times but she would only show me her little machine and the prices listed. I wasn’t really convinced about what I was paying for – but since I felt I had enough of the place and wanted to get the heck out, we paid and left. The churros were good though!
The fajitas are more like street tacos.
They charge $4 for a tiny portion of guacamole, which I can get authentic homemade guacamole in a half a pint size container for $5.
Enchiladas are not supposed to be sweet, unless they are made as a dessert.
Honestly for what we spent for our dinner, I can get way more portions and more authentic mexican food elsewhere.
Chipotle, Viva Burrito, and Filibertos are a better choice for authenticity and much better priced.
Overall this place is way overpriced and not worth it.
The only reason for giving the atmosphere 4 stars, was the music. Due to the concept, I didn’t think pop or R&B really mixed well with a Latin type of restaurant.
Wow, what a gem in Sterling! The housemade tortillas are next level—soft, fresh, and perfectly textured for wrapping up those bold tacos. I went with the Tacos all Pastor and Birria options; the fusion flavors exploded with ginger and spice, no skimping on quality. Paired it with a couple of their craft cocktails (the mezcal marg was smoky perfection) and some Spanish tapas like empanadas that hit all the savory notes. Casual vibe, attentive service, and prices that won’t break the bank. If you’re craving elevated Mexican eats, this is your spot—I’ll be back for happy hour tacos! Highly recommend.
Absolutely loved the food we had as well as their delicious made in house salsa’s. They also sell there salsa’s by the jar!
For appetizer we enjoyed the perks chicken empanadas served with salsa Verde. I could eat those all day! The pastry was light and crispy and all the flavors go Sowell together.
For the entree we had the Birria Tostada and it was so good! All the flavors worked so well together!
Though we didn’t taste any deserts i am sure they were just as good!
Will come again!
