I heard this place was the best in Avon park FL so I had to try it out. Well I got corn and flour tacos and a burritos. And yes this place is small and off the main road but yes this place is good. I have been back since the first time. I think it’s going to be a new stop of mine every time I head to the post office. Afternoon taco snack…. I would try it if I was you. And friendliest staff great cook the girl up front is always smiling and happy. I love this place. Good food. I can go for another steak taco.. or two now that I’m thinking about this place. Oh try their pork rinds. I don’t know if that’s the name of them there. But try them. The make them fresh. They’re so good.

If you like real Mexican food then this is the place for you. Good food and large portions. A medium burrito should have been enough for me. I ordered a medium burrito, a corn shell taco, bag of chips, and a drink. The green sauce they serve is full of flavor and not to hot. Very welcoming staff. Basically it’s a convenient store with a deli and a couple of tables. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you. Give this place a try and you’ll return.

They violate health dept rules for food handling. Very Unclean. The lady making the food consistently touches your food with her bare hands! I asked her twice to make the burritos without touching & she was unable to do it. I left. Just disgusting

Sorry I can’t give this place a good rating. Had a large burrito (prices shown in photo are out of date). Unfortunately, it was not very good. Ground beef, very bland, no cheese. Employees not friendly.

Good Food for Taking Home
The more we try from here, the more we are pleasantly surprised at the quality. Their chicharrones rival my old standby from their bigger competitor further south. They’re tamales are tasty and authentic, while they’re beef rib dinner was perfectly seasoned and charred on the outside while still most inside. Sides included in the dinner plate were equally tasty: rice and refried beans and potato with sauteed onions and grilled jalapeno. This is a cafeteria style take out at a Hispanic-leaning convenience store/deli.

Now this is my kind of place , very secluded out of sight from everyone , small grocery store with a deli homemade food , like grandma use to make it , the food is delicious, the service is great , the price just perfect for everyone , can’t wait to pass by there again
