Welcome to La Posada Mexican Grill. Hands down, one of the best Mexican and fast food spots in Redmond, Oregon. Having been to Redmond more than a few times over the years, either while passing through when heading to Smith Rock, going to get supplies at a hardware store, or even stopping by the local
Movie theater, I was delightfully surprised when I found this gem.

Not only can you dine in or get to go, they also have a drive through to make life easy when time is tight.

They have a nice parking lot which provides ample space for many cars as well as street parking in close proximity if you happen to have a trailer in toe.

Immediately upon entering you are greeted with a nice clean and tidy restaurant with great smells from the kitchen.

Their breakfast Burritos are THE BOMB! the staff is very friendly and was great about taking our order and getting the details right. You can see what they are typing up right in front of you on the register which has two screens so it makes it easy to know they got it right.

Holy SALSA BABY! They have an amazing salsa bar with pickled carrots and jalapeños, fresh crispy radishes, 5 different types of salsa as well as in another area a side compliment of roasted/grilled fresh jalapeños and onions. Such a nice treat!

They make great enchiladas with perfect tender tortillas and a nice topping of sauce cheese and lettuce, and they even customized the ingredients inside to our preferences.

If you want a nice sweet treat, they have fresh portions of flan to enjoy and an entire case of different ice creams, snow cones, and popsicles. They have self serve soda/fountain drinks, fresh Juices in the mixing machines and the authentic bottled Mexican sodas too.

The menu has a nice wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They even do a medium or large ceviche cóctel and Menudo if you want a warm soup to fill your belly.

Their combo plates are nice and they can do just about anything you want A La Carte.

If you are in Redmond and want a nice sit down south of the border meal or a quick bite To Go, I highly recommend a stop in to La Posada Mexican Grill.

Thank you for reading my review and Happy Eating! Enjoy your feast!!

For an authentic, delicious, affordable breakfast burrito, you won’t find a better place in Redmond. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve ordered their Buenos Dia breakfast burrito with their homemade brown sauce. It is legit and satisfies every time. The staff are good people and your order is delivered promptly too. It’s well worth the journey to eat here.

Well if you can see in the screen shot of a photo is what I ordered and was hoping for. Instead this is what I got. When I called to ask why. This is how they do things. You don’t get what you pay for. Hope for the best at all for anything to be done right. Horrible place to go.

First time trying La Posada. It was very good. The burrito wasn’t too big which I like and my wife loved her tacos.

Update 7/16: I used to love this place so much now it’s just eh. The burritos really shrunk. They used to be filled with meat and be so good. Now it’s the size of a Taco Bell burrito and the meat, not so fresh. The avocado salsa got really watery. I think I might take the trip down the road from now on to Rigoberto’s or Dylan’s. For the price, it isn’t even worth it anymore. Therefore I reduced my review to 3-stars from 5-stars.

Original review: Great selection of items. Their burritos are like those in CA. Salsa bar to choose different salsas. This is my go-to restaurant. Prices are a bit steep but the quality is good.

We used to frequent here often, and my view of La Posada gets worse each time. I realized a few months back that they were tacking on an additional % right before processing your card, which they don’t state. They also won’t provide you with a receipt and quickly bypassed that section on their platform before you can opt for one. Should I have called them on it? Yes, I should have but also come on just follow the law and post that you are adding on a % to cover card fees and be darned sure you aren’t exceeding what you are being charged by your merchant processor. My bill before the additional unknown charge was around $76 and then increased to over $79. Again, it’s less about the amount and more about not being up front about it.

As for the food. The tacos I ordered were good, my kids liked their la posada fries, but our enchilada plate that was $15 came out with cheese that wasn’t even close to being melted. Unfortunately, their customer service atmosphere didn’t make us all that comfortable with approaching them about it. So, we ate our meals and left with the mindset that we wouldn’t be coming back.

$15 bucks (with small tip) for a burrito. Asada and mush rice. I have tried several times to give this place a “second chance”. Just not good, sorry. So bland and basic.

Drive thru says 2 items for $11. Charged me $17.15. I went in to talk to them about it he pointed at the inside menu that says $14.99. So not only inconsistency on the drive thru menu, but charging me $17.15 for $14.99? These people are scammers. This isn’t the first time it’s happened. And, they’re rude and arrogant. Do not go here. Go to Axel’s.

The best TACOS I have had since San Felipe. The TACOS were so good I had to use caps lock to denote that I am yelling the word TACOS they are that good.

Nope, never going to La Posada again!
I stopped in this morning to pick up a breakfast burrito while driving from Redmond to Albany. I asked for them if they could put green sauce inside so I didn’t have to pour it on my breakfast as I was driving. They confirmed and said no problem. The Bueno Dias breakfast burrito was priced at $9.99. I was charged $11.75. I payed the bill and asked why the price I was charged didn’t match the advertised menu price. The girl working the counter and the guy working the drive through said I was charged the $1.76 because they had to add the green sauce inside the burrito. Mind you the green sauce is free to any patron at their salsa bar. So the free salsa they added inside the burrito now cost $1.76??? I used to love La Posada, but after this…. Stay away. There are other restaurants to support.
