Please excuse all the childish reviews that gave one star . They need to grow up ! This place was absolutely amazing! We could not believe the amazing service and food we had at this beautifully clean restaurant. The waitress greeted us and realized we did not have reservations and she fully accommodated us with beautiful smile and bubbly attitude. She made us feel very comfortable and glad we decided to give the place a try! The cook created the most delicious food for us and we will be forever talking about it. The atmosphere was nice and everyone around us was smiling , laughing and having a great time. We will definitely be back and to the waitress that service us thank you for recommending the bruschetta appetizer! We will see you soon!

We dined here for my birthday and it was an unforgettable experience. The space is small & intimate so we felt like family. Our service was unparalleled (Meg is amazing!!) and the food & wine was first class. Sauces are scratch made, staff is incredibly knowledgeable & thoughtful and I highly recommend making a reservation and treating yourself to a special evening while in Florence.

Pomodori’s is back under Linda’s management and it is again so very wonderful! The food is delicious and the service and friendliness of Linda and her staff is so appreciated and wonderful. We have been patrons of Pomodori’s for over 20 years. Linda has the cleanest bathrooms of any establishment that I have ever been in and this goes for the dining area also. Thank you Linda for coming back to us!

La Pomodori is a must for any locals or visitors to our town. It’s one of our very favorite restaurants in Florence. Great quality food with a mulitude of menu items for different palates, excellent service, and wonderful ambience. The prices are extremely reasonable for the food and experience. For any of you that have not been there since Linda took it over, please give it a try, as I think that you will be glad that you did!

I don’t know why this place is getting bad reviews. We’ve eaten here for years and never had a bad meal. The food is awesome. Their Ceasar salad with their homemade dressing is the best I’ve ever had. I give this place 5 Stars!

To start with the positives, the waitress was very kind and polite, good service on that front, the crab cakes are good and nearly worth buying again. However, the other 3 meals we had were sub-par at best. Given it was a small restaurant I was anticipating meals priced in excess of 22$ to rival or best Olive Garden. This was far from the truth, very small portions, likely 1/2 the size you’d receive at Olive Garden, under seasoned and just not flavorful. It’s hard to value Olive Garden as “quality” Italian food, however it’s generally something many can relate to on taste and value level. I would go to Olive Garden on its busiest day over this place. The bean soup was bland and quite literally was white beans only, I’m not sure there was much of anything else in there. The clam linguini was insanely under-flavored, It was like eating steamed clam with linguini in clam water. The Salmon in the fettuccine, was a slab of salmon pulled out of a Kirkland bulk pack and thrown on pasta, not positive how they cooked it but again just completely plain with no seasoning. The pasta portion if you elected not to eat your meat of choice, (paid extra for) was tolerable at best. The Alfredo sauce had some value to it, which if I had to guess was likely the cheese that was added on top/with the meal, not that the sauce was actually on par.
In my experience and opinion I would’ve rather taken 1 box of great value pasta, 1 jar of Alfredo from a store and my own salt and pepper and eaten at home. This wasn’t a miss by 3-6$ a meal or poor service. These meals are over priced by 8-12$ a plate. Olive Garden blows this place out of the water. After all said and done my family resorted to the McDonald’s 4 min down the road and enjoyed it more. A shame and a waste of $90

I highly recommend the basil tomato soup. Absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and it was not good. Lacked seasoning and the texture was mushy. I was expecting crispy chicken on top of pasta but it was layered between the pasta and I could barely find the chicken. There was basically no sauce. There was no draft beer but didn’t mention it on the menu so we ordered and it came in a bottle. Very disappointed.
