The negative reviews are from people who don’t understand what an actual authentic taqueria is. No, you are not going to have table service. Yes, you need to speak fluent Spanish in order to order here. Best real Mexican food I’ve found in Alabama.

I went here because I heard that this place is a real Mexican restaurant (which means similar taste to when you eat in Mexico).
Taco was fantastic
I loved it!!!
I ordered Asada, Pastor, and Carnitas for my lunch
I ate it in the restaurant!
The server was nice
I liked that I could choose the sauce whatever I wanted and there was various type of sauce.
I enjoyed it, so I went there again and ordered the same thing but a different flavor (Asada, Chorizo, and Pollo) for my dinner and did to-go

Tacos were amazing. I will have to come back and visit sometime before closing hour to get the full customer experience. 5 stars for carne asada tacos

I’m not sure what it girls problem is that takes the food orders, but she had no reason to do what she did to me Saturday. She takes my order of 3 tacos and gives me my paper.
I go to the other side to buy others things and she walks up to me and ask for my paper back. I gave it to her and she marks out my order and changes it to 7 loaves of fish. Like what??? She is never friendly when I come in there and won’t even crack a smile. I smile at her and say please and thank you and she is still rude. I’ll just go somewhere else from now on. I don’t have to be disrespected. And don’t even try to say it was a language barrier because she knew exactly what I wanted. She came and crossed it out and changed it. You need a new employee like the other woman are very professional and wonderful. Or you need to teach her some manners and to get over herself.

Great food, atmosphere, service. Hard working people at their finest. Family owned and operated. Will continue coming back.

Food is kinda authentic but they all rude here. Make sure you speak fluent Spanish otherwise these ladies treat you like you’re a bother. And don’t come in at 8. They are rude after a certain time. Crazy how my Mexican people in Alabama treat tejanos.

I love this place! They have the best tacos! It is authentic Mexican and not Tex Mex, so the tacos are on corn tortillas, with meat, cilantro, and onion. They offer a variety of salsas. They also have really good Chile rellenos. I shop in the grocery portion of it for tortillas, cilantro, limes, avocados, and beans, and their prices are great. They also have a meat counter which has a nice selection. The owner is super sweet and friendly. I enjoy getting to practice my Spanish while I’m in there, but there’s always someone on staff who speaks English.

Most athentic mexican food is perfect for those who miss México . There’s variety and cover most South American’s foods en goods. Love the staff, always friendly and professional.

The language barrier made it a little tough to order with my deep southern accent, but the burritos were the best I’ve ever had. I’d buy Rosetta Stone and learn Spanish if I had to in order to continue eating here.
