La Plancha is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in New Mexico! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant – exactly what you want when you’re looking for an authentic meal with great energy.
Now let’s talk about the food. We ordered the **FUERZA TORO ESPECIAL** (the owner graciously told us about this special), and wow – just wow! This wasn’t just a steak; it was a masterpiece on a plate. The bistec was perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. It came with two sunny-side-up eggs cooked just right, refried beans, fresh guacamole, pico de gallo, and what looked likea christmas enchilada. Every single component brought something special to the dish, and together they created this amazing symphony of flavors that kept us going back for bite after bite.
And don’t even get me started on the Michelada or prepared Soda – the perfect complement to this hearty meal! Refreshing, tangy, with just the right amount of spice. It’s exactly what you need with a dish this flavorful and satisfying.

I highly recommend the combination plate. The empanada had a great flaky crust, the bean and cheese pupusa had a nice crisp outside, the plantain was sweet and caramelized, and the tamale was full of meat. So good. On this early Tuesday eve there was also an amazing classical guitarist playing.

La plancha / La Plancha Latin grill has been in Santa Fe for some time at this location 3470 Zafarano Dr Suite C, SF NM 87507. They used to be in the Eldorado area of SF prior. They have great tasting dishes and very good sauces that go with their plates. Today I got the Loroco omelette with red chile, and avacado added, with an agua fresca. This dish is always good… meat or veggie options. The server is always nice! Come in to try breakfast/lunch/dinner. Tacos,Fajitas, Enchiladas, papusas and so much more. I’ve tried lots of their dishes, always delish. They serve burgers and veggie burgers as well. Come give this place a try if you haven’t been I guarentee you’ll like the food!

A hidden gem! A great El Salvadorian place. It was clean and nice. They have the best chicken tamales and pupusas! The steak tacos was good too! I finished everything that I ordered because they were all good!

Went here for a low key Friday evening dinner. It was a lovely atmosphere and they had a great musician playing an acoustic guitar, which was great! They were a little busy for a Friday evening, but the service was good and the food didn’t take too long. We had the Parillada Mar y Tierra, Plato Tipico Central Americana, and the Ribeye. All the food was great and the flavor was great. The steak was cooked to perfection, and there was lots of shrimp in the Mar y Tierra. Overall a lovely evening and we found a new restaurant to frequent, it also helps that the prices were reasonable (for Santa Fe anyway).
