I love the menu over there. I enjoy most of the foods. I know it’s over 15 dollars for 1 single person but it’s worthy.

Alright let me start by saying I’ve been coming to this place for a very long time, back in the day this place use to be know as “la finca” but ever since the new owners bought it, it’s now “la placita” same menu, same staff.

This place for me was always a hit or miss
But something happened last week that made me not want to come here anymore.
I ordered some pork chops with rice, i took it to go, when I got to work and went on my lunch break, I was met with a unpleasant and nasty surprise. The pork chops were very undercooked which is very dangerous to eat, undercooked pork is nothing but trouble, but that was just the first half, when I went in for a bite of my rice, it had the worst smell imaginable, at first I thought maybe it was something else, nope. The cooked rice was rotten, it was very spoiled. It has a mushy texture with a rancid smell. I ended up googling to see if the rice was spoiled, it was.

I was furious, I can understand the undercooked pork chop but serving spoiled rice to customers? No, absolutely not.

I ended up going back to the restaurant, I demanded a refund, the woman in charge was apologetic and gave me my money back.

Overall, I don’t know what’s going on with this place, definitely not what it use to be. I won’t be coming back here for a while.

I would’ve snapped a photo of the pork but the smell of the rice had me gagging.

Gave it 2 stars because they apologized and gave me my money back.

We came for the first time and the restaurant was very clean and welcoming. The menu had a variety of authentic Mexican food. We ordered lengua quesadillas, torta de bistec y bistec entomatado fajitas. We were starving. Omg!! The food arrived hot and fresh. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!! The bread for the torta was toasted and buttered and it tasted like they baked the bread from scratch themselves. A huge plus. The amount of food was very good . I love Mexican food pero yesterday it reached another level. So the lengua quesadillas, were out of this world delicious, it was well prepared, seasoned and cooked to perfection ! Oh and everything had fresh avocado , it wasn’t black or sour how other restaurants try to serve you. I will be coming 3X’s a week if not more. Also, did I mention they make pizza!!! As you can tell I love food. I definitely recommend stopping by and treating your taste buds!! ☺️

I love this spot because you can order both Tlayudas and pizza. That is a heavenly combination
