I traveled to FWB for a license renewal but that office closes from 11-12 for lunch so I looked for some lunch myself and found La Place BBQ. I was greeted by the nicest lady and promptly got a seat. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich with 2 sides, BBQ baked beans and potato salad. The food came out fast and every mouthful was absolutely delicious. Some of the most flavorful food I’ve ever eaten. All the staff is super friendly too! When I come back to FWB I’ll be sure to visit again.

These folks serve up an extremely large half rack at an unbelievable fair price, meat slipping off the bones but still firm enough you can chew and enjoy it. Perfect for you dry rub folks. Bbq sauce on the side.
And of course the Texas sized pulled pork and brisket sandwiches…. deeeelicious!!!

Don’t let the exterior fool you, there is amazing food here. Everything is homemade and delicious. The Caribbean Pork had so much flavor it surprised me. The ribs and sauce were seasoned just right and they weren’t too dry or too greasy. Definitely a place I plan to visit again.

Myself and a couple of coworkers went to La Place for lunch on a recommendation and I’m sure glad that we did! The food and service was amazing and plentiful. There are no small servings of some of the best food that I’ve had out in a long time. The ribs were the best of any BBQ spot in the local area. I saw a chef salad go by and out appeared to be enough for at least two people. The exterior appearance the place is no indicator of how good it truly is. I’ll definitely be back and I highly recommend that no one sleeps on this restaurant.

Probably the best hamburger I’ve ever had in my life! The ultimate burger was excellent, and enough for two meals for me. Service was excellent and fast too! Friendly atmosphere! I wish I lived here so I could visit multiple times per week. Pro tip: wednesdays are $8 meal night.

La Place doesn’t have a lot of seating available, but the food is on point. I got the half rack of ribs with potato salad for my side. As you can see from the picture, the ribs are huge! I enjoyed La Place and might go there again.

The decor is simple but clean. The staff was friendly and prompt. For the typical BBQ restaurant, it took longer to get our food than I would expect. I got the jerk chicken, it tasted good but was not what I’d call jerk chicken. Jerk anything is not a saucy dish. My friend’s pulled pork sandwich was exactly what you want for a pulled pork sandwich.

Literally the best ribs we have had.
The Jerk Chicken was also amazing!
The Cuban sandwich as well as the coleslaw!
