I had such a great experience at this pizza place. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor: the crust had the perfect balance of crispness and chew, the sauce was rich and tasty, and the toppings were generous without overpowering. Food is good, salads are fresh and good tasting vegetables (unlike most of the USA they have taste)
If you order pasta, don’t ask for Al Dente, because you’ll simply get uncooked pasta instead of proper Italian cook time.

La Pizzeria is the BEST most DELICIOUS food. Their pizza is the best pizza I have EVER had!! My children always ask to go to La Pizzeria because it is by far their favorite. The Isreaeli young gentleman who is the manager is an extremely kind and nice person, that works extremely hard to have great customer service. Thank you La Pizzeria for being one of Great Neck’s attractions.

Due to an app snafu the order was 30+ min late. I called about it and was told it was already out, waited by the door and called again 15 min later to find out it had gone out only 5 min ago. Not cool. This place is a few blocks away and I could have just walked if they told me the order hadn’t left when I first called. And then it took another 15. The food was fine but seriously I could have walked if they just communicated the delivery delay properly to me.

Many years ago La Pizzeria used to be decent, but the quality, service and current business practice are terrible. Food is below mediocre at best. If you do take out they will give you cold old fries. The worst part is that they charge you a 3% credit card fee, which is illegal in the state of NY.

Today i took my wife out to lunch at this restaurant and had the best experience in my love the staff and the Israeli guy behind the counter who i think is the owner was were beyond nice and caring the sushi man named Kevin made exactly what my wife wanted and it was delicious and we ordered a Penni À la Vodka which was one of the best thing i ever tasted i can’t wait to go back there and use them for all my party’s
