We called in an order for two steak quesadillas. Picked our order up at the pick up window and get home only to realize we got beef quesadillas instead of steak. I call and ask if we can return the beef quesadillas and get steak and was told yes. Once I got to the restaurant I was told I had to pay the difference for the quesadillas. Now I mind you this was THEIR mistake. I had already been all the way home then drove all the way back, returned the beef quesadillas and was still charged the price difference. Had this been a mistake on our end I wouldn’t have mind paying the difference. The service wasn’t very friendly either. Do better and take care of your regular customers especially if it is the restaurants fault!

What a great spot we randomly stopped at! The atmosphere is fun and festive, but still quiet and relaxing. All of the food we ordered was delicious and hot. The birria was well seasoned and so tender, and so was the crazy pollo. Yummy chips and cheese and a great margarita to wash it down with! The waiter was very friendly and helpful. They also have the most impressive bourbon, scotch, and tequila selection of any family style restaurant we’ve ever been to. One of the staff was more than happy to help us with a recommendation and enjoyed chatting about alcohol information with my husband. They definitely will take care of you here. An amazing last minute stop that we would be regulars at in a heartbeat if we lived near!

We have had La Pinata cater several times for us and it’s always top notch, ready on time, and very helpful getting the food to the car. My family also makes weekly visits for dinner. Food & service are always !! Highly recommend!

We had passed by here many times waiting for it to open and finally got a chance to try it out last night. The first thing I noticed was how dark the parking area was. It’s obvious they have tried to address this with additional lights. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff were so pleasant. I found the prices a little higher than expected for the size portion we received. The food was very good and well seasoned, but I don’t know if it compares with other places I have tried. I will say they quite possibly have the best margaritas I have had at any Mexican restaurant. I think this place is a good addition to Childersburg, and I wish them all the success. Overall I left satisfied and think you will also.

I’m sorry but this place is a no! I ordered chicken and my husband ordered steak. Mine was well well done (overcooked) my husband’s was well well done (overcooked), they both was like chewing on a piece of leather. Don’t forget the cobwebs that are in more than one spot. The only plus was the waiter was very nice. We will not be back.

We visited on a Sunday after noon. They were very busy but managed to get us a table and take care of us. The servers were very efficient and professional. If they keep up the good work this place will do good in Childersburg Alabama. The food was presented in a picturesque style and was very flavorful. My favorite was the cheese dip and tortillas.
