First time diner and right away everything was great. We were greeted like old customers, very friendly service. The chips and salsa were great, the fajita burrito was delicious, as if the filling had been stewed together. There is also a little spice in the food, which I enjoy so much!

ALWAYS A HUGE FAN, as this is one of our favorite places to support.
The peoplel are so happy and greet you the moment we arrive. Everytime weve visited, the exoerience is additionally enjoyable, becaise of the great staff that they always seem to employ.
The food always is full of fresh ingredients and flavors. Not shoved under questionable sauces/graveside, to hide the unimaginable. And, Ive NEVER left without a box, for later.
The drinks are without parallel. As they iffer so many great choices. From top shelf from the bar, to your favorite flavored authentic Meixcan drinks.
The chips and salsa, that can make or break an establishment, are the usual warm and enjoyable version, that we appreciate. Nit what seems to be left from tables, and are incapable of hoisting great amounts of fresh sals, into our pallete.
Its a festive and fun spot. Be it with a church group, friends, or with your honey. But, for us, its our preferred SOTB choice…and has been for over a decade.

We celebrated my wife’s 40th Birthday there today. The owner was very helpful and accommodating when I was planning the party. We had a large number of people yet the room didn’t feel cramped, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend La Pinata.

Such a cute little spot! It feels cozy, intimate, and super friendly. The staff is amazing, always smiling and happy to help. The food is so good, always piping hot, fresh, and full of flavor. They have tons of options, which makes it hard to pick just one thing. Whether you eat in or get takeout, the quality is always on point. The beer was ice cold and super refreshing. I love this place! Wish I had pics, but we devoured everything as soon as it came out

Tex Mex well done. Has the typical color/pictures menu and the tacos à la carte (flour, not corn; no lettuce nor tomato) is the closest to real Mexican in the menu.
Food is good, service is fast and the ingredients are notch above other similar restaurants in the area and certainly much better than fast food tacos (Taco Bob’s etc)

If we could put NO stars that would be terrific!
This is the absolute worst Mexican place we have tried so far!
I absolutely love authentic TRUE Mexican food but this was horrible.
I ordered the Texas Fajitas & my steak tasted like it had sat in the fridge, turned brown, and then been stomped on and cooked. My shrimp was rubbery and my chicken tasted like it was the tenderloins.
The beans and rice were decent but had little to no flavor.
My margarita was served without a coated rim.
My boyfriend’s enchilada’s were DISGUSTING, dry, and flavorless.
The only half way decent thing was the chips and salsa which we had to put hot sauce in and salt on to be able to have any taste at all.
We came in and there were two servers, one female and one male. The lady sat us and then absolutely did NOTHING. The male server was running around trying to do everything so I do feel bad for him, but the food could have been LOTS better. We will NOT BE BACK and I will NOT recommend anyone to come here. We came in STARVING after a long day and left still hungry.

Went there for lunch, had fajitas and a veggie burrito. Both were excellent, arrived quickly, plus it was hot and fresh tasting and not overcooked. The service was excellent and the place was clean and tidy. In my opinion it is one of the better Mexican restaurants in town.

La Pinata deserves every star! I accidentally ordered the Pollo Xochimilco instead of my usual Pollo Toluca, and since I have a food sensitivity to shrimp, I was concerned after I’d already started eating. Even though the mistake was mine, our server Jonathan overheard my girlfriend and me quietly swapping plates and truly went above and beyond to help. He made it right immediately and reassured us it was no trouble at all. The food was fresh and delicious, and the hospitality was outstanding. This kind of attentive, caring service makes La Pinata a standout—10/10 recommend for anyone looking for great Mexican food and genuinely kind staff!

My first time eating here and I will definitely be back! I had beef tacos with beans and rice alongside chips, salsa, cheese, guacamole, and a tamarind Jarritos. Delicious! The environment was beautiful and warm and our server was absolutely outstanding. His friendly and welcoming personality made my day. I was seated immediately and the food arrived quickly. A five star experience all the way around!
