We recently tried La Pima Mexican Restaurant in Savannah, TN, and it was outstanding! I ordered the grilled chicken tacos, and they were hands down the best tacos we’ve had since moving to Savannah a few months ago. The chicken was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly.
The meal came with refried beans and rice (both were good and about what you’d expect), plus a fresh side mix of cilantro, jalapeños, onions, and diced tomatoes — kind of like their version of pico de gallo. They also served a delicious hot salsa (possibly habanero) that had amazing flavor without being overpowering if you use it sparingly. The small cup of queso for pouring into the tacos was a great touch and really tied everything together.
Out of all the Mexican restaurants we’ve tried in Wayne and Hardin counties, this one is our favorite by far. This will definitely be our regular spot from now on!

My family took me here for my birthday dinner. Everything was fantastic. Our food was exactly what we ordered and the portions huge. My t-bone steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. The margaritas delicious as well. The portions were large enough that most of us went home with a snack for later. Our server was amazing as well. Five stars for sure.

I had a minor issue on my visit. Started off great, the waitress was on point, and the food was good. The issue was when I went to pay. I had to wait 15 minutes to pay.!! The guy was on the phone taking an order, which I understood. But he was super slow and kept on repeating himself to the customer he was talking to on the phone. I believe it was multiple orders he was taking. All while I’m right in front of him, and he is not acknowledging me. Of course, I got frustrated, finally the waitress that was sweeping the floor around me the whole time I’m standing there, offered to take my payments at another register. I was so frustrated that I was able to get my food and eat it in less time than it took to pay the damn bill. And I still tipped 35% of my bill, because I know they don’t make much. But damn, please be more aware of your customers’ time. I will be back next time I’m in town for work, got to give them another chance, because the food was good, and relatively priced.

I also really hate to say this, but, for safety reasons I think I should. WE LOVED THE OLD LOCATION.
The new one feels really dirty and run down. OUR SERVER AS ALWAYS WAS AMAZING. REALLY LIKE HER.
Did have to wait a few minutes to pay, only one table there and it was a casual conversation, I know it’s important to talk to customers. No big deal.
HERE IS THE PROBLEM. I FEEL AWFUL POSTING THIS.
I DIDN’T FEEL GOOD AFTER LUNCH. NEXT COUPLE DAYS STILL NOT FEELING WELL. I GOT
E – CHOLI.
That was the only time we had eaten out in several weeks and hadn’t since then.
I’ve never had it before I didn’t know symptoms.
Again, I have to let you know and if anyone else doesn’t feel well please go to Dr. I have another health issue and things could have been VERY BAD for me.
I doubt we will be back. It was the overall experience.
This is horrible for us. We looked forward to going to Savannah knowing we would eat at the old place. We have taken guest there many times. Hate to say goodbye.
I wish you all well and hopefully get everything fixed up nice in dining area ( really looks dirty despite atempents to paint over it). I know you take pride in your food and I’m sure it was a one time thing.

Tacos and enchiladas were mediocre at best. The Table Salsa was pretty good as were the chips. But the menu items were all sub-par quality and preparation. I have had the Sunday Buffet here, and it has been about the same quality, just more of it.

Food is good and the service is usually amazing. If it’s busy you may have to wait some. Better than the McDonald’s and taco bell in town. Arby’s also. The fast food scene in Savannah has no dignity.
