We had a wonderful experience here during several dinners on our trip. Our server Adam went above and beyond, and the owner recommended the perfect wine pairings for our dishes. Can’t wait to try more options.

Absolutely the best restaurant in Mountain Village! I had the Pappardelle Aragosta and it was fabulous! The wine selection is incredible and get the Focaccia so you can enjoy the exquisite olive oil on the table. It is probably the best olive oil I have ever tasted. The service is also top notch. Mattia waited on us and he was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and fun.

The atmosphere and service were great. The food was seriously lacking. The minestrone soup was not fresh and the lasagna was watery. The salads and pizza ordered by others at our table looked decent. It was the most expensive meal on our trip so far and by far the worst.

We were craving authentic pasta, and while Telluride doesn’t offer many options, this place seemed to be our best bet. Despite mixed reviews—some saying it was overpriced and others calling the food mediocre—we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the reviews were spot on.
The menu claims the food is “made to order,” but my veal marsala told a different story. The marsala sauce was so separated that it was essentially just oil poured over the meat. My wife’s bolognese wasn’t any fresher—the sauce tasted flat and uninspired. If “made to order” simply means plating pre-made food when you order it, then yes, they’ve mastered that.
The service was… confusing. While we were attended to regularly, we never knew who was actually our server. At least three or four different people came by to take drink orders, and it was unclear who to approach when we needed something.
Overall, I wouldn’t go back. It was the most expensive meal of our trip and easily the worst. The small Italian spot near our home serves genuinely fresh, made-to-order dishes for a fraction of the cost—and far better quality.
On a positive note, the ambiance was nice, but that’s hard to mess up when you’re dining on a patio surrounded by mountains.

Expensive but pretty decent Italian place if you are in the mood for it.

Was not impressed with service. We scheduled a reservation and when we arrived there was no record for our reservation. We are accepted but I noticed many others experienced the same situation. Communication is lacking. The food was okay, didn’t amaze me in any way.

This place blew me away…it was so good!!! My wife and I split gnocchi and lobster ravioli and I loved both. It is a REALLY expensive place, but worth it. I would definitely come back to try something different.

The food is exceptional. I haven’t tried one thing I didn’t love. The lasagna is the best lasagna I have ever had and the bolognese is the real deal. The service is great..the ambiance was nice and romantic.
Thank you for making our trip!
