The executive chef creates a fantastic dining experience with an ever-changing menu and in-season offerings. Highly recommend dining here and ordering multiple courses.

My mother and I attended the Anthony Bourdain tribute dinner at La Petite Pierre. It was 7 courses and each course was better than the one before. And the wine pairing was perfection. From the presentation to the actual food itself everything was divine. Highly recommend this quaint little restaurant.

Michele did an outstanding job catering my very complex and inconvenient rehearsal dinner and wedding reception for 175 people. She had great vision, prepared an incredible menu, and executed the actual meals exceptionally. I’m very critical of food at most weddings, and hers was fabulous. She had to work with a limited kitchen we built in a tent outside, use limited lighting, use water that came from a spigot hundreds of feet away, only had the use of 1 of the ovens we rented, and she managed to do it all without complaining or even letting me know of the inconveniences. She really produces a high quality product that you can trust.

The wait staff is great, service is excellent. My problem is with ‘specialty buffet only’ on mother’s day. This was not mentioned at the time of making reservation, nor was the price displayed anywhere. The spread was tiny and taste was acceptable at best, specially for $40. The delicious crispy breakfast potatoes & bacon were cold. You don’t charge Hilton palm court pricing for such a shoddy work. The food here has been good on regular days but this experience was appalling.
EDIT: The reservation was either under Schear or Lambert

Outstanding buffet this afternoon in an intimate, classy setting. Best of the best! All of Madeira and Indian Hill are grieving to hear that this establishment is closing at the first of the year after decades of faithful service to her adoring patrons. Wishing the very best to La Petite Pierre owner and staff!

The wife and I went here for a date night and we absolutely loved it. We loved how small and intimate the dining room was. We ordered the bread and gnocchi special for appetizers and let me tell you they were both fantastic. For our entrees we ordered the duck breast, hanger steak and the chicken. The steak was wonderful and cooked perfect. The duck breast was good but not great and the chicken wow the chicken. I have never has chicken that was a flavorful and moist. We did order 2 sides the mexican street corn which was my wifes favorite part of the meal and the cheesy grits. The grits were ehh not something that we will order again. Out of the 3 french restaurants that we have been to in Cincinnati I would definitely say this was one of the best if not the best. It compares flavor wise with Jean Robert’s Table. But this is more of french inspired menu vs classic french.

What an upsetting experience. As Madeira resident I would expect this place would be a little more attentive to details. Since the time of reservation, through email with Ms. Alma Doepke, I stated my wife and I would be celebrating our 3rd year anniversary. Haven’t heard a single “Congratulations” or even a “thank you for thinking of us to celebrate it”. When we arrived for our pre arranged reservation the restaurant was completely empty and we set on a small private looking table (very cute), by the kitchen. Only if we knew we would be able to hear EVERY LITTLE THING the chefs and serves talked about. Very embarrassing. We ordered a bread basket, the bread was hard, when I told the server she offered another one, we said no thanks. She, straight forward told us: “oh, I will just take it out your check”, sorry, what?! What kind of server says it like this? Again, when we arrived no congratulations for our anniversary was said at anytime. Food is good (could improve on sides), steak was served with a load of French fries whilst they could use some veggies and other French tasting items. I wish they could learn a little bit more about costumer service so other people wouldn’t be as upset as we were. Sad to say, we won’t be back.

This place is a hidden gem. A cozy setting with great food and wine. Everything I’ve had there was good but the beef Burgundy was amazing. Flaky crust and delicious mushroom sauce. Friendly staff too.
