Team – what can I say apart from a lovely little find of mine and a great way to spend the gap between the afternoon and evening session at the Snookers Masters at Alexandra Palace.

I’m not local; but we shall be back next year (snooker tickets already booked!) and if I’m travelling in the area.

The team at La Petite were great, didn’t get the names (unlike me!) – but the two male waiters were really attentive. The balance of ‘rustic environment, quality of food & price point (I don’t chase price, I like quality, atmosphere and ‘real’!) was well balanced.

I would have paid a bit more; but understand that need for balance.

I can recommend, highly recommend, this place – if you think ‘posh and fancy’ well don’t – think rustic (lovely rustic), great food, great team, great value and more than all – truly warming; well trust me – this is the right place.

Thank you for our ‘relaxed’ Sunday late afternoon – see you again.

I recently dined at La Petite Colline on New Year’s Eve. The food was genuinely delicious , well-prepared, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the evening. The prices were reasonable too, which I appreciated given the holiday occasion.
However, the service fell short in several ways. I had to ask twice for a clean side plate, and both times I was given a dirty one. We also asked for water, but it was forgotten the first time. When it finally arrived, we were given only one cup and had to ask again for the second. These small but noticeable service lapses took away from the overall experience and suggested a lack of attention to detail.
Overall, my experience would normally have been a 3 out of 5, but considering the festive atmosphere and the quality of the food, I’m giving them 4 stars. I’d be willing to give it another try, hoping the service improves.

We had the pleasure of dining @lapetitecolline_n10 London’s newest French culinary gem. From the moment we stepped in, we were transported straight to France.

We kicked things off with mouth-watering starters: Calamars Frits, Camembert Roti, Crevettes à l’Ail, and a lovely Salad de Chèvre Chaud — each dish bursting with flavor.

For mains, we couldn’t resist the perfectly grilled Entrecôte Grillée and the exquisite L’Agneau Deux Façons, where the meat quality was truly exceptional.

And then came dessert — with 7 kinds of crepes to choose from, it was hard to pick just one! A delightful finish to a beautiful meal. ️
Make your way to Muswell Hill, don’t miss this hidden gem!

We had a wonderful evening at La Petite Colline. Everything was absolutely delicious, from the beautifully prepared beef tartare to the rich, comforting onion soup. The lobster bisque was silky and full of flavour, and the snails were cooked perfectly, just as they should be in a great French restaurant. A truly lovely dining experience that felt both refined and welcoming.

Lovely local French restaurant with the friendliest and most helpful staff, and delicious authentic food. Feels like we are in France. Cheerfully accommodates gluten free and vegan diets too!

We went at this restaurant for dinner and we were waiting for our starter for over 30 minutes, and for dinner we waited 1 hours and 25 minutes with 3 tablets only in the whole restaurant as we arrived second customers.
The starter, many of the mussels shells were empty.
The dinner was awful, we ordered rabbit and it was disgusting we couldn’t eat it. Extremely chewy and terrible smell, the rabbit was frozen mean not fresh, one of the staff members at least admitted that none of their food is fresh.

I was offered a free dessert. So basically I went there with so much excitement and hunger and left even more starving after nearly 2 hours of wai.
The management was awful even pushed his member of the staff forward to deal with the horrible situation instead of managing the situation as a restaurant manager.

We will never return there again.

We DO NOT recommend this restaurant.

Extremely disappointed.

Firstly, It’s a great addition to the ever growing eateries in the village. But you’ll need to up your game! I had a mushroom with puff-pastry starter, however the puff wasn’t fully cooked which is why the chef decided to cover it completely in mushrooms.. also a few other small mistakes.. but great service and nice atmosphere and will definitely try again.

Great lunchtime spot. Very reasonably priced, empty which suits me well. Accessibility wise there is stepfree entrance, it is almost like a little ramp. Don’t know about the bathrooms and the website doesn’t mention it. Fabulous service. We hat the steak and fries – delicious. We will be back!

Went for dinner here last night for the first time. The food is what you would expect from a really good local bistro in France. Service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself is very cosy and atmospheric and unlike some other places there is enough room between tables so you don’t feel you are sitting with strangers. Would highly recommend.
