Went to La Pescheria for an early dinner and was very let down by the quality of the food. The fresh bread was the best part of meal and it was nice to get multiple servings. We started with burrata which was rather bland with over salted tomatoes on the side. The mussels were pretty good although we did not get our bread replenished fast enough to actually utilize the soup they came in. If the meal ended here I would have left maybe a bit unsatisfied but somewhat worth the money however the entrees changed that quickly.

We ordered the Penne alla Norma, salmon and lobster ravioli (pictured). The penne had no redeeming qualities, the pasta was clearly from a box, undercooked and the sauce consisted of eggplant and mozzarella pieces crudely chopped up with some oversalted cherry tomatoes. There was nothing tying these elements together and you could hardly taste the eggplant.

The lobster ravioli came with flecks of crab meat on top that actually had some flavor which was not the case of the ravioli themselves. I kept trying to taste the lobster however I couldn’t. The sauce was not bad but the dish could hardly be called “lobster” ravioli.

The salmon pretty much tasted like a brick, the outside had a terrible taste and the inside was flavorless. At least the mashed potatoes were ok.

Not worth the price.

Outstanding evening at La Pescheria, our favorite Naples authentic Italian seafood restaurant. Food is exceptional and the service even better. Francesco makes you feel like his own family and always takes such good care of us. So fun and a wonderful place to take family and friends. I would highly recommend.

La Pescheria is a charming restaurant specializing in fresh seafood dishes by Italian chefs. This is the establishment if you want to experience authentic Italian cuisine in a small, intimate atmosphere, focusing on freshly made seafood dishes.

From its dimly lit interior to its cozy tables surrounded by rustic wooden chairs, it was clear that this would be an unforgettable evening indeed! They have a charming outside dining area and an inside dining area.

We were not disappointed! From the minute we stepped into this wonderful little restaurant, we knew we were in for an exciting evening. Our waiter enthusiastically greeted us and suggested an outstanding wine from Puglia that he thought would pair perfectly with our meal.

Our meal began with a Fennel and pear salad with walnuts and grapes, and a Burrata, Tomato, and fresh Basil appetizer. For our main courses, we ordered the Dover Sole whole grilled fish, and they filleted it table side and served with fresh vegetables and potatoes, whole grilled Branzino, and a delicious pasta special. Everything was freshly made, perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious.

Our meal was perfectly cooked and tasted like something straight out of one of Italy’s finest family-style restaurants. We savored each dish slowly, allowing ourselves time between bites to take in the atmosphere around us.

Every course was better than the last! Our waiter could not have been friendlier or more helpful throughout this culinary journey.

By dessert time, we couldn’t help feeling grateful for having chosen La Pescheria as our destination for dinner. They provided us with top-notch cuisine and an interactive dining experience full of meaningful stories behind each plate served up before us!

Needless to say, I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for an unforgettable culinary adventure right here in downtown Naples! This is definitely one place you don’t want miss in Naples!

What a great atmosphere along with wonderful, kind servers. We had the red snapper and one of their tasty salads (balsalmic dressing). The food was fresh and prepared perfectly. La Pescheria is a must visit when in Naples.

Francesco, the owner, was fantastic. We felt like being transported to Italy right away. The Italian dishes were absolutely delicious. Great wine selection. One of the few restaurants on 5th Street that was open to having a late lunch. Fair prices and great service. Highly recommended.

What an awesome restaurant, we always come when visiting Naples, it’s our tradition. Amazing gamberi e carciofi & Fritto misto di pesce, I had pasta special which was ravioli with veal, mushrooms and truffle and it was just W O O W. Great lobster pasta and tiramisu too. Can’t wait to go back!

Transported back to Italy. This place tends to accommodate big family groups of Nonnas speaking Italian. Fresh branzino and seabream prepared simply and deboned expertly next to the table. My wife got the large rigatoni with shrimp and I wound up getting the lenguine vongole. Delicious flavors. Highly recommend the sauted spinach because they do whole cloves of browned garlic, which is probably my favorite thing to eat when prepared this way. Definitely make reservations.
