The service is equally impeccable: attentive, professional, and always willing to make the experience even more special. Without a doubt, a place I will return to and highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy true Italian tradition with exceptional service.
La Perla Nascosta is a true hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, intimate, and authentically Italian.
We started with the Octopus Carpaccio, and it was outstanding. Thinly sliced, incredibly fresh, perfectly balanced with arugula, capers, and olive oil. Light, elegant, and full of flavor.
The Linguine Neri was the highlight. The seafood was tender and perfectly cooked, the sauce rich but not heavy, and the pasta had that authentic al dente texture that’s hard to find. Every bite tasted fresh and carefully prepared.
For dessert, the White Chocolate Mousse was the perfect finish. Smooth, creamy, not overly sweet, and beautifully presented. It felt indulgent without being overwhelming.
Service was attentive and friendly, and the overall experience felt elevated but still welcoming. If you’re looking for high-quality Italian cuisine with fresh seafood and a cozy atmosphere, this place delivers.
Definitely coming back.
We started with the baked clams and shrimp, both full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The Pizza Margherita was outstanding, simple, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The Linguine Frutti di Mare was fresh and perfectly cooked, with generous seafood in every bite. We also loved the branzino, seasoned just right and cooked to perfection.
Great food, warm vibes, and a wonderful place to enjoy Italian comfort dishes with good company. Definitely coming back
The culinary offerings were outstanding, with notable dishes including the arugula salad with grilled chicken, tuna tartare, linguine vongole, daily special octopus dish, pizza funghi, and branzino.
Additionally, the beverages were superb, particularly the gardenia, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We had a wonderful time at Perla Nascosta, and I appreciate the complimentary dessert and excellent coffee.
Overall, I highly recommend Perla Nascosta for its excellent food, service, and ambiance.
Complimentary starter bread + chili-flaked olive oil The bread comes topped with herbs and salt, fresh out of the oven. It’s delicious even on its own.
Appetizer: Baked Clams & Shrimp The breadcrumbs on top of the clams soak up all the briny clam flavor and the acidity of the sauce. The shrimp is great with the sauce too. Toward the end, we started dipping the starter bread directly into the sauce.
For mains, we ordered three pastas— all handmade, soft yet chewy:
Tagliatelle Carbonara The pancetta flavor really shines, and every strand of pasta is coated in a rich, creamy sauce. If you love thick, rich sauces, this is a must-order.
Cortecce Pesto Pesto shrimp pasta with a super fragrant pine nut and basil flavor. Lots of sauce, very satisfying.
Tagliatelle Meatballs A classic meatball tomato pasta. It comes with two huge meatballs, perfectly seasoned. The meatballs are so big that you can get a bite of meat with every forkful of pasta.
Personal ranking: Carbonara > Pesto > Tagliatelle Meatballs. The carbonara is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The meatball pasta is also tasty—just not as stunning as the first two.
The total came out to about $30 per person (after tax and tip) for four people, and we still had leftovers.
The place just opened, but it already feels like it’s going to be one of those neighborhood favorites. Cozy vibe, friendly staff, and you can tell they care about what’s coming out of the kitchen. Definitely planning to come back and next time, I’m bringing friends.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. For a new opening, they’re already doing an excellent job — I’ll definitely be back soon!
