Stopped by for a late lunch and this place didn’t disappoint at all! I had the Fresh Molcajete and my gal had the Maleficio. Before the server brought our food out, we were given some chips and salsa with a “bichi” (seafood broth) which was a really nice preface of what was to come. Our food came out and was very fresh, well prepared, delicious, and filling. Our servers were attentive and the restaurant was inviting and very tastefully decorated. We will definitely be coming back as their menu has a ton of things we want to try.

This is a new version of a prior Matzatlan restaurant. New owners. The food was terrific. The salsa served first was very tasty. The shrimp in a mushroom cream sauce was a surprising combo and really tasty. The molcajete octopus/rib/shrimp/stuffed pepper/chicken in broth was beautifully cooked and served. My companion is delighted by the find. The service was terrific as well, very friendly. Both of the owners stopped by to say hi. We will definitely be back.

Drove 45 minutes to get here and it was well worth the drive! The food is phenomenal! Everything on the menu was delicious! Atmosphere was extremely inviting. Ruben was a superb Chef. Met all the new owners and they were all very personable. You will not regret eating here. I would give them 10+ rating! Highly recommended!
