Ordered a pupusa and a torta at La Peñita Restaurante y Taqueria. The pupusa was so hot the styrofoam plate started to melt, and the torta’s bread and egg were overcooked and slightly burnt. Not safe, not enjoyable.

The best tacos in the DFW! please try it the food speaks for itself! New location across the plano bazaar and the food is still the same my fav is tacos de pastor or de barbaco in flour tortilla! Sopes, and pozole and menudo never misses! Home cooked meals everyday to all your likings, and my fav meal when I want a big dish is the mojarra frita! Totally recommend to anyone around the area to help my family get recognized! Thank you for your support ❤️

Always love the food here. Reminds me of my Suegras food. It’s authentic Mexican food. The fluatas are the best I’ve had ever. Fresh homemade tortillas and agua frescas are so good. The staff is super nice and family owned so they take a lot of pride in everything. Totally recommend!

Best tacos hands down. Lovely warm family owned business. Lunch specials are amazing locos aren’t greasy beans aren’t made with lard. Everything is extremely fresh from elote cups, aqua frescas homemade daily, fruit cups! Shrimp cocktail is excellent ribs and red sauce are fantastic. Pupusa’s are amazing.! You can’t go wrong with anything you order.

New Location. I recommend the tacos if it’s what you love the most like me. Good lunch specials and overall good prices very reasonable for quantity. Not like other places up charge you and receive small quantity. The owners are so nice and welcoming. Definitely my go to place if I’m in the area.

For Mexican food this is the best place for authentic taste in Plano. I am glad I found this hidden gem inside the Plano Bazaar. The juices are also fantastic and freshly made. I always get the torta obrera with tripas and the tostada de pollo.

If you are wanting authentic Mexican food that hits every time this is THE SPOT!! The food and drinks are flavorful fresh and a great price! We usually get the pastor & beef tacos with rice and beans and the chicken tostadas. This is restaurant is owned by the sweetest family. Supper local!!❤️❤️

Great pupusas and fruta. They have a good variety and they have a lot of snacks. Only thing is that they are closed on Tuesdays and wednesdays because the bazaar is closed.
