Delightful Restaurant on the Rhone
This is a delightful restaurant in a barge on the Rhone River. It is owned and run by a young family who made us feel very welcome when we tied our boat up to the barge. We explored Arles for the rest of the day and came back La Peniche for delicious dinner with a beautiful view across the Rhone of the setting sun against the old part of Arles. The Peniche salad and terrine were great entrees and both the filet de rouget and the duck confit were excellent. We finished the evening with an after dinner drink with the owner.
This restaurant is well worth visiting when in Arles.

Nous avions réservé. Aucun autre client apart nous. Serveur assez douteux. Cuisine pas fait maison. Gruyère qui sent le rance. Steak haché pour le tartare. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant. Péniche vétuste pas d’entretien. Forte odeur de tabac. Point positif Patronne super agréable merci pour son accueil.

Nous y sommes allés pour manger sur l’eau. Ce fut une belle découverte. J’ai choisi la soupe de poisson, l’éffiloché de canard et le gâteau au chocolat. Tout était bon, pour un tarif vraiment raisonnable. La vue est magnifique et le propriétaire vraiment sympathique. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation !

Ottima esperienza, abbiamo pranzato sulla barca sul fiume. Eravamo con due bambini ed era inverno. Ambiente molto accogliente, personale molto gentile.

Une très belle expérience. Un joli cadre sur le Rhône, majestueux. Calme, chaleureux et familiale, avec un accueil très sympathique. Pour la carte, des plats délicieux, tout comme les desserts. Vivement recommandé.
